Federer is my favourite player since Sampras, Edberg, Mc Enroe & Vitas.

A class act, who has just about the perfect game...

I hope he smashes them...

As for the ladies...who cares...Womans tennis is as boring as bat shit.

A brilliant match on at the moment between Jankovic and Paszek

6 all in the third.

Jankovic seeded 3 and Paszek is giving her a real match. Jankovic has saved 4 match points, and Paszek has served for the match 2 times. Now Jankovic is 0/40 on her serve again. (Just broken)

Womens tennis today cannot be described as boring. The most even competition for many years with plent of winning chances. They may not hit the ball as hard, but having said that a couple of Molik serves touched 180k's last nite..
Definately come a long way since the "power hitting" Suzie Barker and Francois Durr lit up the place...
If Fed get throught the first week unscathed can't see anyone stopping him...Rafs body might struggle to see out a full 2 week slam.
As for LeyLey, those comments rear their head every January and are from the same song book as Greg Normans "I can still win another major" from the Early/Mid 90's and Poos "I can get back up to the top after surgery" from anytime in the last 5 years. Have great respect for LL's career and what he has achieved, but has lost his "wheels" over the past 3-4 years which apart from his competitive spirit was his major asset. Marriage and ankle injuries have blunted his weapons.
