Would be a bit disappointed that it was more of an emphatic victory

Didn't get to watch the game unfortunately (damn that Murrdoch bloke)...always enjoy watching the Azzurri play.

Not too surprised at the score...whilst they might be a long way from winning a world cup or even the 6 Nations I think they've improved a hell of a lot in the last few years...dismiss them as a walkover at your peril ;)

...and for the Kiwi's out there...as if you didn't know already ;) ...

New Zealand 14-10 France

you are right about Italy, I saw them in Melbourne at Docklands Stadium against the Wallabies in 2005 and we won about 60 to 10, just too good then but they seemed to have improved somewhat since then

Yeh they take some hammerings at times but they seem to play with a tenacity that a lot of other teams don't seem to have. So many games they deserve to win on effort alone.

No offence to Southern Hemisphere rugby but I think the best thing they've done so far is to sack Kirwan and bring in Berbizier...there game seems to have picked up no end even though their 6 Nations wasn't so good this year. Still an exciting team to watch...now if they'd just move the Puma's to Spain and make it 7 Nations  ;) ...wasn't there talk of them being allowed to join the Tri-nations???

English father and an Irish mother...she was Cork born and bred so I got Munster dna ;)

I was over the moon when Donncha got the chance to captain the side last week against the Kings but even the Munster team site think he's being overlooked...maybe the powers that be don't like a man who has a pet lobster (I kid you not) :D

As long as he keeps doing what he does best for the homeside I'll be happy :D McGeechan and Sky Sports can go take a running jump.
