Sorry for the late reply guys was to tired last night and went fishing this am .And watched the Crows game I taped the night before.

Firstly it was great to Fianlly meet Wedgie and MIC .And I saw mighty eagles across the room .Sorry ME the seats were awful and my arthritis was playing up other wise I would have wandered over.
And Wedgie I did warn you about Miss 16 yelling when Nicholls was wrestling     .i think i can hear in my left ear just about now.Funny how in the whole Venue she was his only MARK  .And once upon a time she was the same way for Slater
So my first EPWA show and my third wrestling fed for the year .What can i say but YES everyone was correct it is better than HRPW and XAW .But what makes it better lets see.
Firstly a sold out crowd that makes a NOISE EPdub springs to mind .the likes of Benny English working the crowd into a frenzy .The local wrestlers from all three feds are on a par with one and other really. There would be one or two that would be above average and below average .
But its the interstate guys on last nights card that stole the show Carlo Cannon (boy can he move and work a crowd) Chris knights worked very hard at putting his opponent over .And of course Mikey nicholls.Mikey has come along way since he first appeared in Adelaide from perth in the EPWP show.He has travelled to the states and was involved in the NWA heavy weight title tournament (not the aussie one but the yank one).
The other thing that made this night was the wrestling atmosphere .The entrance music the lighting etc etc .
My highlights the Golden Aztec .mikey Nicholls shooting star also the mikey kick both only got the two count .And in the second match the tooth flying out and getting picked up by the crowd and taken by the security.
And on the way home I asked miss 16 was that the best show of the year so far .No dad the best show ever due to mikey :roll:I asked better than 2004 show .Well the second best show of all  time
Cheers
No pics this week due to the lighting .could be some illegal video of the last match we will wait and see about that one
And Wedgie if I could get miss 16 to the footy no way in hell would the eagles lose with those lungs screaming in the stands .when she wakes up I will find out if she can talk again.

Enjoyed the performances of Dirty Dick and Wrecking Ball once again. Though Mikey Nicholls was excellent and looking forward to the next show 5 April

Mighty Eagles has the 2 sign, I was probably the one holding up the You Suck and Boo signs for my son, don't know why he brings them when I end up doing the hard work!

Mic wrote:Very very sold out crowd, possibly the biggest I've seen. I agree with Wedgie, that shooting star press was awesome, as was the double-team superplex by Jag and Havoc. Johnny English is a very amusing manager.

Benny English.

Thanks for reminding me of the double-team superplex though, but it wasn't Jag and Havoc, it was Commando No 1 and Commando No 2.
