Great game to watch, Eli really managed to step up when it really counted. NE had a bit of a shocker.

In media lock-down all day so I could watch it after work as tho it was live

just finished watching the game .... amazing clutch play by Manning and a well deserved win to the Giants they were the better team on the day

That's the best superbowl since the Pats - Panthers game in SB 38

Reminds of the Patriots upset in SB 36 when no-one gave them a chance

the play by eli manning to set up the winning play was awesome that catch was reminicent of leo barry in 2006 afl gf but the other way around super contest to watch 4 a once a year viewer such as myself ...

Booked the day off so I could watch the Bowl and so glad I did ... The Giants were ultra brave and smashed the Pats offensive line until Brady got a few short passes out on their 2nd last play which resulted in the what seemed like the decisive TD for Randy Moss.

When one of the Patriot's dropped what would have been the game winning interception with about 1:40 to go I wondered if it would come back to haunt them.

Always great to see a rank underdog pull off a win and also to have a season finale decided in the final seconds.

I'll also join the chorus of praise for Eli Manning who had a great post-season and will no doubt enter the ranks of Superbowl immortality, particularly with THAT play (the catch shouldn't be forgotten either, think it was Toomer??).

Only downside to the game was the number of freakin ad's ... I managed to watch 2 movies simulataneously with the game!!

Well wasn't that a nailbiter. Wonderful game, I couldn't watch a lot of the last quarter - had to leave the room and let Mr MK do the yelling. Eli Manning, write your own cheque. That play will be remembered well after he's gone I reakon.

It was one of those very rare clashes which happen throughout the years that only sport can deliver - real life drama, tension, exhilaration, devastation, fairytale, romance all rolled into one, and when you're watching it unfold live, there's just nothing beats it imho.
