Surfing on the Mid Coast

Postby Andy #24 » Sun Feb 03, 2008 8:27 pm

Has anyone else been surfing there and realised how many rude pricks there are? Usually it's the better surfers too, cutting in on everyone, hogging all the waves but ripping into anyone who gets in their way. A couple of bald pricks did it today.

I have decided I am never going surfing there again. Only wave over a foot and a half I caught all day I had to bail off to avoid decapitating two bozos.

its only got worse over the years Andy due to the population boom in the South....suprisingly when its not school holidays and mid week some good uncrowded waves can be found

Yeah, cause uni holidays are longer than school ones I've been there when it's less crowded. Always a fair few people there though. I usually get to Streaky a couple of times a year and I'd call that uncrowded. Mid Coast always has a min 5 guys at each break.
