SAFootyers- Social Golf 2008

Postby MatteeG » Fri Dec 28, 2007 10:32 am

Hey SAFootyers,

I am treasurer of what is known as a Group 4 affiliated Golf Club (Cove Golf Club), which has been running for almost 20 years.

We play a variety of golf courses around SA approximately every 3rd Sunday- tee times usually between 7.30 and 9am (so your whole Sunday isnt taken up). Best part is you only have to play the games you want to- so if a family show etc is on, you can simply give that game a miss!!

Membership is $40 which gets you a Golflink Card and an SAGA affiliation membership- which means your handicap is recognised anywhere in SA.

We cater for all abilities- handicaps in our club range from 10-36 (no 'pros' here!), and the emphasis is on having a laugh first, beer second, and a hit of golf somewhere in between....

Our 2008 programme is out- if you would like a copy emailed to you, or just want information, please PM me, or simply reply to this thread.

Cheers!

Booney- the Pat screwed us around with tee times etc so they got the heave ho, as did Thaxted Park.

As we are based South of Adelaide, Compass isnt too far for most of us. Most games we are done and home by 1-2.

Having said that, there are a few games at the Bridge arent there? Great course.
