can anyone tell me what ball its supposed to be on top of the william webb ellis cup? rugby union cup for those who are unaware of what it is. you would think its a rugby ball but apparently the ball is almost round so....
any help is appreciated

It is a football a.k.a known as a soccer ball, due to the fact that Rugby evolved from the round ball game....
