08/05/07 - Match updates for REVOLUTION

After 3 years, FN Carnage (EPW Perth) will be returning to wrestle in Adelaide. He will be facing Robby Heart in a match up for the Championship Tournament. Robby who is 0-2 in the tournament after facing a streak of tough opponents will once again have his work cut out for him, as FN Carnage has been a multiple EPW Champion and currently holds one half of the EPW Tag Team Titles.

After his loss to Jayson Cooper at Seeds of Evil in a brutal Last Man Standing Match, Spike Steele turns his attention to Jay Andrews. Both these men have had series of matches for the highly popular WrestleRock promotion in Melbourne and are looking to settle the score here in Adelaide. Jay who is coming off a win against Cletus Blood and Mike Burr at the last show to keep his spot in the Championship Tournament is looking in fine form. Spike Steele will be extracting some vengeance on Jay Andrews on behalf of his loss to Cooper, but sources say he isn’t finished with Cooper just yet either.

Match ups so far:

FN Carnage vs Robby Heart
Spike Steele vs Jay Andrews
MAIN EVENT DEATH MATCH
Hartley Jackson & Bruce Mills vs Jayson Cooper and Damian Slater

Rumour has it that Mark Aiston, Channel 10 and TripleM radio personality, will be returning to EPW Adelaide to confront Benny English. Mark Aiston who was barred from the last event due to his actions at Road to Glory will have a mark on his head if he steps in the ring next Saturday night.

News on the main event DEATH MATCH will be coming soon, along with updates to the Merchandise section.

Wonder if it will entice a recently departed poster to go over and settle a few scores?

What an absolutely fantastic night, my son and I had an absolute ball, a great crowd with the hall filled up, we can't wait for the next show on June 30.

I was honestly and pleasantly amazed at how good these guys were, and the way they played their characters was fantastic.

My son reckons it was the best time of his life, looks like I wasted a few grand on going to Queensland when I could have just taken him to an EPW show in Adelaide.

ME, thanks for putting me onto it, would like to catch up at the next event.

Last match (death match) was full on and included everything from stop signs, thumb tacks, 3 tables, garbage bins (and lids), a car door, ladders, barbed wire, bat on fire, fire extinguisher and probably a few other things I can't remember. Absolute mayhem at one stage with wrestlers all over the place, things flying everywhere, even one dude pulled out of the crowd yet my son still felt safer than he did at Elizabeth Oval last year!

Great event, I look forward to prepurchasing our tickets next time so we can get ringside, still can't complain, despite paying after they let all the prepaid people in we still got 2nd row tickets.

Mark Aiston is in the main event next month, he loves it and hams it up well.

And how good were the drinks prices!! 2 UDLs for $5.00!!

I wouldn't have stood out, just had a grey long sleeved top on and only went with my 7yo son, I was just behind the light tower in the merchandise table corner, not far from the loudest guys who put shit on the baddies all night who made a great atmosphere.
Despite people from various ages but with a majority of young 'uns who were on UDLs or bourban at a "violent" event I was quite taken aback as to well behaved everyone was, most people got in the spirit of the night, my son was stoked when getting a high 5 from the Adelaide lad who won the first event.
I couldn't imagine these guys would be on much money but the show they put on and the risks they took were unbelievable.

I was really suprised as to how good it was.

I might wear my Roosters World Order Tshirt next time to stand out a bit more.

Yep, I've been to a few local shows over the years and that was easily the best one I've seen, with probably the biggest (and loudest) crowd as well.

Who could forget the shopping trolloy.
I got there just before the show started and there was only a couple tickets left, so I was a little lucky.
The best local show I've seen since I've gone to local shows.
Tag team Death Match = match of the year. Better then the Last Man Standing match at the show before this one.
Try to wear something Eagles for the next show.
