Watching the Australian Open tennis this week, i've constantly been hearing talk about the use of Hawk-eye by the umpires for close decisions for next years open.
Is this a good move???? I don't think so.
It's going to slow up the game to much.
Plus it will eliminate the element of players getting fired up at the umpires. And lets face it.. we all love seeing players having a dummy spit and if hawk eye was in place, The umpire can say to the player "Sorry hawk-eye said it was out" and then the player hasn't got a leg to stand on.
Leave it for the use of TV Coverage. Don't use it as an officiator.
