NFL Pro Bowl

Postby HH3 » Mon Jan 30, 2012 11:45 am

Was really keen to watch this when I get home tonight, but seeing the "highlights" of the first 3 touchdowns, Im not so sure.

Theres no defensive pressure AT ALL...one guy had a clear run at the QB and just walked with his arms down by his sides. Theres no defensive pressure in the endzone either. A WR catches the ball about a foot away from the CB and the CB makes no attempt to swat the ball. Doesnt jump. Doesnt even stick his arm out...

Its really making the game a joke.

Its usually like this.. There not playing for anything unlike NBA and MLB... I was in the states last year when the pro bowl was on and know one takes it seriously, it's obviously an honor to be picked, know one wants to get hurt...

Wouldn't be too hard to rip Manning's head off at the minute.

Yeah, I reckon he'll be traded in the offseason. They've been looking at a college quaterback, and if St Louis dont pick him up I reckon they'll go that way, and hope for another Tebow.

There are certain rules in the pro bowl. No blitzes at all. Have to play 4-3 defence. Thats why there is no pressure and its all offence. Players get $25,000 if they lose and $50,000 if they win. Game only gets semi serious after half time if its close and the players want the $$$$.

I think you might find Flynn will end up in Washington or Seattle.

havn't seen what you're talking about, but sounds like the NBA All-Star game. no defence. the scoreline for the NBA AS game is usually over 120 for both teams.
