History repeats.
Canucks fans did the same thing in 1994 when the Rangers beat them.

I can see the Bruins tearing into Luongo early, both shot wise and rushing the crease.

Don't remind me. :( :( Still hurts.

Same here.
I had a horrible feeling my Wings wouldn't win Game 7 that year.

But it only took 3 hours to quell the riot, compared to 6 in 1994 according to the Vancouver Police Chief Jim Chu

Likewise. Everyone was saying 'it's cool, we get to win at home', but I had this sinking feeling that we had to finish it in 6. I never allowed myself to get my spirits up for G7, just had this feeling.

Atlanta Thrashers have moved to Winnipeg, and the Winnipeg Jets name return to the NHL after the original Winnipeg Jets moved to Phoenix in 1996. Although the Winnipeg Jets name is being revived, all the original Jets history, records, retired numbers, and stats will continue to be a part of the Phoenix Coyotes franchise. I believe they will remain in the same division Atlanta was in at this stage.

Their new logo is based on the Canadian Air Force

Here's a bit of history of the old Winnipeg Jets (now Phoenix Coyotes) and the announcement of Atlanta's move to Winnipeg.
