Hi all

In preparation for larger changes for SAFooty.net, we need to move the forum to a different server. This won't be a simple point and click excercise, so in the coming days you might see the site down for short periods of time.

I'll try and get this done at certain hours with less people on. I'll also post on the Facebook page if there's something going on, so make sure you've LIKED SAfooty on Facebook in order to see the updates.

With upcoming changes to SAfooty, it is vitally important that you make sure your details are up to date.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS ON YOUR ACCOUNT IS YOUR CURRENT EMAIL.

This will save MANY hassles at a later date. I know for a fact there are a hundred or more people who don't use the emails they signed up with, for whatever reason.

When you change your email through the User Control Panel, you will need to CONFIRM the change, by checking that email account and following the instructions.

NOTE. YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE DEACTIVATED UNTIL YOU CONFIRM YOUR NEW EMAIL ACCOUNT. PLEASE EMAIL ADMIN@SAFOOTY.NET WITH THE SUBJECT LOCKED OUT IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES (include your old email, new email and username)

Ah yes, I know that one from db.org and it's frustrating enough with just a handful of people.

That's an issue with your computer then! Obviously you don't have outlook or something else installed.

In which case, you just send an email, the same way you normally would (I assume you send emails) and put in admin@safooty.net.

Unchanged emails are fine. If they are current, it's ok.

You MUST have a current email on your account.

No.

It's important that the forum software, and us, can contact users via email.
Once changes come on - you will want to have access to that email, I assure you.
