Ok here goes. Why I haven't posted and why I am choosing to make this my last post. I know I have pushed the line over stepped the line and killed the line on this board for a while. I took some time off to clear my head I asked to be removed and I wasn't.
What set me off was I was given an avatar ban do I agree with it? No I don't and here is why. My last avatar I had 3 years before hand and I personally choose to remove it I had been asked by Wedgie to remove a lady exposing her nipples I agreed with Wedgie on that one. So I decided to ban myself for three months give the site a break from me. I posted I am taking three months off it got deleted. Now that is what set me off.
This site was set up for fun talking football and posting most things the site changed I didn't I guess I am in the wrong there but I choose not to change. Everyone has an idea on how this site should be run and with people using this site at work and in this political correct world people need to toe the line. I understand all that I feel that my avatar was funny but I didn't deserve a ban on it. If I was allowed an avatar again will I come back and post? The answer is no. I choose to retire from this site.

It's actually quite ok on the dark side ya know. Us being the few that remain avatar-less.

Seriously I'd hope that it's not only that that is stopping you posting. If you do choose to go, then enjoy the rest of your posting career somewhere out there in the ether.

I really enjoyed your links to those wonderful places on the big 'ol wide web that i'd never have found.

All us up and coming posters need you chalkies to toe the line so we don't get in trouble with our antics.

Strawb at the end of the day you were warned about an avatar, you then put another up that was deemed offensive. There was nothing sinister in it and a precedent had already been set with Blacky doing similar in the past, he received a 3 month ban of an avatar so to be fair so did you.
Posts saying you were leaving were removed as this isn't a personal blog site for people (with the exception of Fisho's crazy and entertaining antics!).
We also don't 'delete' people, people choose to post or not post themselves.
Moderation on this site isn't personol and we try to keep it as consistent and fair as possible, you know I like you Strawb but its up to you what you do mate.
