Is it possible to....

Ok, just a couple of questions regarding observations from other forums:

1. Is it possible to put up spoiler buttons to cover images for additional comedic effect when breaking out some gold?

For example, Tottenham beat Arsenal, ending their season and to remind all of our Gooner mates on here, it would have been great to be able to hoax them into a false sense of security, then BAM, open the spoiler photo to reveal a humerous captioned photo, reminding them all about it.

On another forum, this is done by posting the following:
Picture or text etc insterted in here.
An the post comes out with a small button entiteld 'Spoiler: Show', which when you click on it, reveals the pic.

2. Is it possible to embed youtube clips, so they actually appear on the forum in the same manner as embedding a picture.

Once again, on the other forum, this is done by wrapping a:

[yt] [/yt]

around the address of the youtube video. This way, the video can be viewed directly on this site, rather than having to navigate away, then come back to comment.

Just thoughts. Shoot me down as necessary.

Before I step of my soap box.....

It is possible to change a setting on the site, so that when you click on a link, a new Explorer/Firefox/Other browser window/tab is opened and the link fired up in the new window/tab?

Being navigated away from site when you click a link isn't ideal.

Once again, shoot me down if there's a good reason for the current setup/it's just not a good idea. 8)

Talking to myself here, but anyhoo....

Is it possible to change an option somewhere which will allow me to post without having to review new posts and having to hit 'post' again?

Don't know if there is such an option, but I just right click on a link and choose 'Open Link In New Tab'.

Regarding the query about adding new facilities to the site were constantly weighing up whether to add more modifications to the site. It's a double edged sword as we have many already and the more we implement make it a lot more difficult to update software when it's outdated.
We will be looking at some new software with different modifications to what we currently have in the near future and comparing it with what we have so stay tuned! :)

Spoiler text is too hard and won't ever be implemented.

Hold on .....

What's this?
IT IS! :)

One question that I have:

When will you make it possible to list Gold Coast or GWS as you AFL team?

With GC starting next year I'm sure they will attract a few supporters on this forum.

Ditto with Sheedy at GWS for 2012.

Done. Ive put them at the bottom of the AFL list and not in alpha order as if I did it would stuff up people's existing ones if you had a team starting with H or later.
Just go to the profile part of your User Control Panel and they'll be the bottom 2 selections of the AFL teams.
