I hope you're right Johnnyboy, and I know Im a pessimistic supporter particularly when nervous, but my reasons are as follows:

- To be in the position we are, we have had to play our best 11 every match.
- That group (imho) is showing signs of flagging a little, and Im concerned our squad is not deep enough to cover both Sturridge and Henderson who will be missing.
- Man City have a much better, particularly depth-wise, list and I don't think they'll lose another match, whereas I think we might.
- We showed too many signs of nervousness against City - We actually stopped playing the brand that had seen us get all over them and sat back trying to defend, and I don't think many of our players coped well with that.

Long way to go mate, I pray you're right, but I can still see us dropping points from here, whereas I don't think City will.

City are just too volatile. One game awesome, next game shite.

It will depend on how you do against Chelsea. Win that and you are home.

They should maul the Chavs.
Things falling into place for Liverpool, not playing CL has been a big factor. The Chavs have CL semi finals either side of the Liverpool game and Mourinho's ego wont allow him to not try go flat out and win that, they are still a big chance. Id imagine it may even be a weakened lineup against Liverpool as I think he believes their EPL chances are slim

City still have Everton have at Goodison, we have a pretty good record against City so i would hope we would come away with at least a draw if not 3 points to help with CL qualification. Liverpool def in the box seat to win it..

Yeah I know City have to go to Goodison and the Toffs are on fire at the minute - I hope for the same thing you do :)

They just have so much talent on that list, both on the pitch and the pine, it could easily pan out that they win every remaining game.

Some reports last night suggesting Sturridge's season is over, which would be a major blow.

Sturridge out for the season will definately hurt, i just think if you get over the line against Chelsea you will have one hand on the title and your side has enough talent in it to see the season out!

This could possibly be the best end to a season yet in terms of winning the title and the top 4 places... Pretty hard to beat 2 years ago when City won the title in the dying seconds.

I wouldn't have coped with that if I was a City fan lol .. Win or lose, I hope it doesn't get to that extent this season.

Regardless of the personnel, I just hope we keep playing attacking football, always looking for more goals - We stopped doing that on the weekend and it almost brought us undone.

Should be a very easy run in on paper.

Dont Everton have to play Chelsea or City or someone. you are still in with a shout but got to say Everton are on a roll. They have already passed thier highest ever points tally in the premiership.
