Chris Smalling has signed a new 5 year contract extension.
Can see Smalling and Phil Jones being the pillars in defence for many years

Good warm up beating Barca 2-1.
Owen with a classy goal, looking fit and in good touch.
Young Cleverly was awesome and De Gea impressive

True but they did have 6 starters from CL final and we had 3. Maybe all it says is Uniteds B team is better than Barcas B team.

Problem with Owen is his susceptibility to injury. Not someone you can rely on for the long haul

Wednesday booya

Nasri will be a ManU player by then
Wenger has accepted that Nasri wants away
All I can say is Nasri and Nani in the same squad will make United a real contradiction. A gritty northern club with the leagues two biggest divers

That's what I thought but would happily have him at United.

Cant see any more signings, Fergies press release this morning states that he reckons our kids are good enough. Think he is right in one sense, reckon we will win the league but our current squad wont get near Barca and surely thats the comp we want to win this season.

When did manure sign Gomes? And why does he have a spanish name on his kit?

LOL Bale talking up the fact he's susoect and will target him. Personally i think bale and all the yids should cork it until after the game given the refs reco... I mean our record up there.

Also saw a funny interview with ferdinand on premier league world. He was saying when teams go in to the half 1 or 2 up they know united will still probably come out and draw or win. What a load of shit rio, teams know some filthy ref will come out having taken a large wad of cash from purple nose and his cronies and will totally ruin the game by handing utd every drcision on a platter!

Redknapp has ruled out Modric for tonights match saying he isnt right mentally due to the transfer speculation - which is a bit strange as Chelski have just purchased Mata from Spain so i doubt Modric will now be heading there.

Modric will go to the Chavs, they have stated they want 2-3 more before transfer deadline

If the opposition players had any ticker they wouldn't readily throw away leads at Old Trafford! As soon as United come out fired up, oppo players crap their pants and return to their shells.

Glad Modric has been ruled out tonight but Spurs will still be tough. It could be a high scoring game with our defensive woes.

No throwing away the lead by Spurs today, they just folded like a pack of cards in the second half :D
