Aston Villa left-back Stephen O'Halloran has joined Coventry City on a free transfer.
The 22-year-old Republic of Ireland international has agreed a one-year deal with the option of a further 12 months at the Ricoh Arena.
O'Halloran, whose caps came in 2007 and 2008, began his career at Villa as an apprentice but has failed to break into the first team.
Coventry City have announced former striker Gary McSheffrey is set to rejoin the club on 1 July.
McSheffrey's contract with Birmingham City is due to expire and he has agreed a one-year deal at the Ricoh Arena with the option of a further year.
The Coventry-born forward scored 53 times for the Sky Blues after making his debut at 16 against Aston Villa.
McSheffrey, 27, moved across to St Andrew's in 2006 helping Blues reach the Premier League in his first season.
But a persistent knee injury meant McSheffrey struggled to feature for the Blues first team of late and he was recently sent out on loan to Leeds United.

Coventry City have agreed to re-sign Sunderland striker Roy O'Donovan on a three-year contract.
The 24-year-old, a former Sky Blues trainee, will officially join the club on 1 July following the expiry of his deal on Wearside.
O'Donovan joined the Black Cats from Cork City in 2006 but has since made just 19 appearances for the club.
Coventry boss Aidy Boothroyd told the club website: "There is no doubting he can make his mark on the Championship."
O'Donovan is Boothroyd's third signing, following the arrivals of Gary McSheffrey and Stephen O'Halloran.
Coventry City defender Richard Keogh says new manager Aidy Boothroyd was a major factor in his decision to join the Championship club.
The 23-year-old officially joins the Sky Blues on 1 July having spent the last couple of seasons at Carlisle.
Keogh told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "He's very infectious.
"I feel at this stage of my career he's the manager who can help me move forward as a player and that's why I've signed," he added.
Coventry will begin their 10th season outside of the Premier League when they kick-off the new campaign against Portsmouth at the Ricoh Arena in August.

Leyton Orient have agreed to sign goalkeeper Lee Butcher on a one-year contract following his release by Tottenham Hotspur.
The 21-year-old, who spent three years at White Hart Lane, enjoyed a month on loan at Brisbane Road this season.
He is Orient's third signing this month and will now battle with Jamie Jones for the number one jersey.
Butcher told the club website: "It's a great chance for me and a good step to move on and make my career."
He added: "I'm going to try to push Jamie, try to get into the first team and make a name for myself."
Butcher played eight Blue Square Premier games whilst on loan at Grays Athletic during the 2008/09 season.
Orient boss Russell Slade has already agreed deals to bring Wycombe striker Alex Revell and Cray Wanderers youngster George Porter to the club.

Derby County have agreed to sign Wigan striker Tomasz Cywka on a permanent deal following a successful loan spell.
The Polish forward, 21, has agreed a two-year contract and will join on a free transfer when his current deal with the Latics expires in June.
Manager Nigel Clough told the club's website: "His performances towards the end of the season were impressive and we were delighted with what we saw.
"Tomasz isn't the finished article but he has plenty of talent and potential."
Cywka failed to score in five Championship appearances for the Rams but Clough continued: "We're confident he can develop with us and become a very good player for years to come in a Derby County shirt.

Leeds have signed Stephen Caulker on loan from Spurs. He's only a young bloke, but he's got loads of potential.
Sounds like he's been signed as a CB/DM while Kisnorbo is injured.
