Jermaine Beckford, you Legend! Saved Leed's ass on the opening day of CC1. Thank god you got a late equaliser. Would have been very embarassing to lose to Exeter at Elland Road

Round Up

Relegated Norwich City made a disastrous start to their first season outside the top two tiers since 1960, being hammered 7-1 at home by Colchester.
Former Ipswich player Kevin Lisbie gave The Us the lead, before a Clive Platt double and a strike from David Fox made it 4-0 within 25 minutes.
Lisbie later grabbed another to give his side an incredible five-goal lead by half-time. Cody McDonald netted a consolation for the Canaries but David Perkins restored the huge advantage then Scott Vernon added a seventh late on.

Play-off winners Gillingham also got their League One campaign off to a flying start with a 5-0 thrashing of Swindon Town.
Simeon Jackson bagged a second-half hat-trick, with Mark Bentley and Adam Miller also hitting the back of the net for the promoted club.

An exciting clash at St Mary's ended all square as Southampton and Millwall played out a 1-1 draw. Matthew Paterson gave the hosts the lead before Jimmy Abdou equalised with a header.

An own goal from Andrew Whing was the only difference between Brighton and Walsall, his blunder proving enough to give the away side all three points.

Bristol Rovers could not prevent visitors Leyton Orient from emerging from their clash with all three points. John Melligan and Jimmy Smith were the scorers for Orient, with Rickie Lambert on target for Rovers.

League Two champions Brentford made a dream start to the new season with an away win against Carlisle.
A header from Myles Weston gave Brentford the lead, with veteran defender Ian Harte converting a spot-kick five minutes later to level before Weston grabbed his second and Sam Wood made it 3-1.

Charlton also started the season with a narrow win over Wycombe at The Valley. Christian Dailly and Nick Bailey scored within two minutes of each other to give the League One new boys an early 2-0 lead.
Chris Zebroski pulled one back before Miguel Angel Llera thought he had secured all three points, but another strike from Zebroski made the home side sweat.

Leeds snatched a late win in their clash with newly-promoted Exeter City. Star striker Jermaine Beckford scored the first goal but Alex Russell equalised despite the Grecians being down to 10 men after Barry Corr was sent off.
But Beckford pounced again late on with a header to secure all three points at Elland Road.

Huddersfield came back from two goals down to grab a point from their first game of the season against Southend United. Lee Barnard gave the Shrimpers the lead with a penalty after Anthony Grant was fouled by Robbie Williams.
Franck Moussa seemed to put the game beyond reach 10 minutes into the second half, but Anthony Pilkington pulled a goal back before debutant Jordan Rhodes produced the leveller.

John Barnes' tenure as Tranmere Rovers boss was not blessed with a good start as his side were easily beaten 2-0 by Yeovil. Dean Bowditch and Gavin Tomlin scored the goals for the home side.

Paul Ince's return to the MK Dons had a muted start as his side played out a goalless draw with Hartlepool United.
Oldham and Stockport each came away from a dull North-West derby that also finished 0-0.

Round Up

A Lee Hughes' hat-trick helped Sven Goran Eriksson enjoy a dream start as director of football at Notts County.
Ben Davies opened the scoring in the 17th minute against Bradford at Meadow Lane before fellow debutant Hughes' netted a quick-fire hat-trick (39, 43 and a 55th minute penalty) and Brendan Moloney scored a fifth - also on his debut - with four minutes to go.
The emphatic result means pre-season title favourites Notts County enjoyed the biggest win on the opening day of the League Two campaign.

Meanwhile, Burton Albion's big day as Football League newcomers ended in a 3-1 defeat at Shrewsbury.
The Shrews went two-up thanks to goals from Jake Robinson in the 10th minute and Dave Hibbert four minutes after the restart.
But Greg Pearson got a consolation for the Brewers on 62 minutes and Richard Walker had an equaliser disallowed before Joss Labadie put the issue beyond doubt for the Shrews with seven minutes to go.

Torquay, who are back in the Football League after a two-year absence, enjoyed a winning start against Chesterfield courtesy of Scott Rendell's 15th minute goal and Lee Mansell's second on 71 minutes.

Elsewhere, Marvin Morgan scored the first League Two goal of the season when finding the net in the third minute for Aldershot against Darlington.
Andrew Sandell then doubled the advantage after 30 minutes and Louis Soares added a third on 49 minutes for the Shots before David Dowson got a consolation with five minutes to go.

Bournemouth began the new campaign with an emphatic 3-0 away win at Bury.
Brett Pitman put the Cherries ahead on 17 minutes, Steve Fletcher scored six minutes before the interval and Mark Molesley hit the third from 20 yards on 50 minutes.

Crewe's first game back in League Two ended in a 2-1 home defeat to Dagenham & Redbridge.
Jon Nurse scored for the visitors two minutes before the interval before Byron Moore equalised for the Railwaymen on 72 minutes but Paul Benson restored the advantage two minutes later.

Meanwhile, Grimsby went ahead thanks to Barry Conlon's 35th minute goal at Cheltenham but efforts from Lee Ridley (56) and Barry Hayles (68) saw the Robins win 2-1.

Morecambe and Hereford shared a 2-2 draw at Christie Park.
Marc Pugh put the visitors ahead on 39 minutes before Craig Stanley equalised four minutes later and Stuart Drummond added a second for the Shrimps on 57 minutes but Pugh had the last word with a last-gasp equaliser.

Lincoln got off to a winning start at home to Barnet courtesy of Janos Kovacs' 59th minute effort, while Port Vale and Rochdale shared a 1-1 draw after Joe Thompson scored on 66 minutes but Marc Richards equalised from the penalty spot nine minutes later.

Promotion hopefuls Rotherham left it late to beat Accrington Stanley, with Paul Warne scoring the winner with a minute to go.

Northampton were held to a goalless home stalemate by Macclesfield.

Anyone else see that, the turncoat scum sucking pikey Scum Campbell has signed for League 2 outfit Notts County?

It's apparently a 5 year deal worth 60k per week    . How the hell can they afford that?

Absolute madness on both counts. Although, maybe he just wanted to get away from the Spurs fans chanting......in which case, I hope we draw NCFC in the FA Cup!!!!!

Word is that a rich middle eastern business man has bought them out. That is how they were able to get Sven Goran Eriksson to be there football director and also the deal with Sol is meant to be 2 year playing and 3 years coaching. They will probley be in the championship in by the 2011/2012 season and we will see what happens from there.

Round Up

Leeds stormed to the top of the Coca-Cola League One table with a stunning 4-1 success over Gillingham on Saturday.
Bradley Johnson's two first-half goals put Leeds on the way to a 15th successive home league win and Jonny Howson grabbed the third immediately after half-time.
Andy Barcham pulled one back for Gillingham but Jermaine Beckford hit the fourth 11 minutes from time to lift the hosts to the top of the table.

They leapfrog two points above Charlton who were held to a late draw at Norwich.
Headers from Deon Burton and Jonjo Shelvey had put the visitors 2-0 up.
However, Wesley Hoolahan reduced the deficit seconds before the interval and Grant Holt headed in the equaliser for Norwich in the third minute of stoppage time.

Bristol Rovers are two points further back in third place after Chris Dickson struck twice on his debut to shatter Brentford's unbeaten home record.
The striker, on loan from Charlton, drilled Rovers ahead after 10 minutes and lobbed Lewis Price from 20 yards for the second.
Aaron Lescott put the visitors three up before Charlie MacDonald hit a 30-yard consolation.

At the other end of the table Southampton finally registered their first league win as Rickie Lambert scored twice from the spot against Yeovil.
Lambert opened the scoring after Marek Saganowski was felled by Terrell Forbes. And despite a nervy display, Saints wrapped up the victory after Nathan Jones handled in the box and Lambert hit the second.

They are now five points adrift of Tranmere whose manager John Barnes will be feeling the pressure after Adam Stansfield struck twice for Exeter.
Michael Ricketts pulled one back but Rovers have now lost six on the spin and are three points from safety.

Wycombe have just two more points after they lost 1-0 at home to MK Dons, with Mathias Doumbe scoring the only goal of the game.

Meanwhile, Kevin Lisbie struck twice from the spot against Hartlepool to secure Aidy Boothroyd's first win as Colchester boss.
Lisbie had already missed a penalty in the first half but was given another chance when Gary Liddle felled Kayode Odejayi.
And 30 seconds after the break Liddle handled John White's cross and Lisbie struck again.

Millwall recorded their first victory in seven games with a 3-1 win over high-flying Huddersfield thanks to Neil Harris.
The 32-year-old was the provider as Chris Hackett tucked the Lions ahead in the 13th minute and then notched his sixth of the campaign seconds later.
Steve Morison added a third after the break before Jordan Rhodes grabbed a consolation.

Substitute Francis Laurent hit a dramatic winner in the second minute of stoppage time for Southend to end Brighton's run of two straight wins.
Nicky Forster had earlier scored twice to cancel out goals from Lee Barnard and Southend debutant Roy O'Donovan.

Oldham lifted themselves away from danger with a 2-0 victory over Carlisle, thanks to goals from Pawel Abbott and Keigan Parker.

Elsewhere, Stockport also recorded their first home win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Leyton Orient.
Nicholas Bignall and Greg Tansey gave the hosts the lead before Tamika Mkandawire scored a late consolation.

Troy Deeney got Walsall off to the perfect start against Swindon but Billy Paynter, who five minutes earlier had missed a penalty, stepped up to the spot again 10 minutes from time to rescue a point for the visitors.

Round Up

Bournemouth's best start to a season for 39 years continued at rock-bottom Darlington as Brett Pitman's double kept them on top of the Coca-Cola League Two table.
Pitman converted Lee Bradbury's cross early on before slamming home his fourth goal in three games from the spot after Tony Kane handled the ball in the area.

Dagenham remain hot on their heels and are still only two points behind thanks to a 1-0 win at Burton.
Paul Benson's slotted home his eighth goal of the season in the fourth minute but Burton should have hit back through Shaun Harrad's penalty which was saved by Tony Roberts.
Albion's Guy Branston was later sent off for a professional foul.

Rotherham are now four points off the pace after they were held to a 1-1 draw at Cheltenham.
Veteran campaigner Julian Alsop headed home a late equaliser to deny managerless Rotherham the win.
Adam Le Fondre's fifth goal in six games had set the Millers on their way, only for Alsop to get on the end of Theo Lewis' cross five minutes from time.

Barnet and Bradford had to settle for a point after a thrilling draw that was kicked off by James Hanson's early effort for City.
John O'Flynn got Barnet level only for Zesh Rehman to cancel his strike out, before Mark Hughes' late header earned Barnet a point nine minutes from the end.

Kirk Hudson's goal capped a fine turnaround for Aldershot to move them into fifth.
Shaun Miller rifled Crewe ahead early in the first half, before Scott Donnelly's fifth goal of the season pulled the visitors level.
Hudson then won it for the Shots as he converted Donnelly's precise pass.

Ian Sampson's chances of taking over as Northampton's next permanent manager suffered another blow as Will Buckley's goal earned Rochdale the points.
Chris O'Grady slotted Dale ahead early on and Ryan Gilligan equalised after the break, only for Buckley to curl home a fine winner for Keith Hill's men.

Shrewsbury are level on points with Aldershot and Rochdale following a 2-0 victory at managerless Lincoln.
Jake Robinson got the Shrews on their way from close range before the in-form striker Dave Hibbert settled matters with a penalty, his seventh goal of the season, following a handball by Moses Swaibu.

Sol Campbell had a debut to forget as high-flying Notts County were humbled by Morecambe's first win of the season.
The former England man looked on as Jim Bentley and Paul Mullin set the Shrimps on their way, with Ben Davies' long-range strike not enough to rescue the Magpies.

A four-goal blitz before half-time helped Chesterfield easily see off Macclesfield.
Wade Small got them going early on, before Jack Lester, Jamie Lowry and Donal McDermott all chimed in with further goals.
Hamza Bencherif got a late consolation for the visitors who sit second bottom in the table.

Torquay are level on points with Macclesfield as their slump continued at home to Grimsby where they fell to a fifth successive defeat.
Kevin Nicholson's 18-yard own goal which came as he went in for a tackle gave the hosts a fortuitous lead, before Peter Sweeney made sure of the points with a delightful 25-yard free-kick.

Hereford leap above them as John Trewick finally got his first win as manager with a 2-0 victory over Accrington Stanley.
On-loan Leicester man Craig King volleyed Hereford ahead early on, and Marc Pugh had a penalty saved by Ian Dunbavin as the Bulls impressed, before Ryan Valentine's second-half header settled any nerves.

Elsewhere, Bury triumphed 1-0 at Port Vale thanks to Ryan Lowe's eighth-minute strike.
Mike Jones' also hit a post as Bury impressed, although Ryan Cresswell's sending off for a second yellow two minutes from time tarnished their afternoon.

Robert Snodgrass ensured Leeds remain on top of Coca-Cola League One with a late winner to sink MK Dons.
Snodgrass' third goal of the season in the 92nd minute keeps Leeds out in front at the top of the table by two points from Charlton.

The Addicks beat Exeter 2-1 at The Valley, with the visitors' Bertie Cozic also scoring in the 92nd minute but only after Nick Bailey and Izale McLeod had given the home side a two-goal cushion.

Bristol Rovers are now four points adrift in third after they were held to a 1-1 draw at the Memorial Stadium by 10-man Brighton.
Jo Kuffour equalised for the home side in the 68th minute after James Tunnicliffe had scored 12 minutes earlier for the visitors, who had Adam Virgo dismissed on the stroke of half-time.

Behind MK Dons in fourth, Colchester and Huddersfield also lost ground as they drew 1-1 and 0-0 respectively at Tranmere and at home to Stockport.
Rovers ended a run of seven consecutive defeats in a game that saw eight players booked but were pegged back by on-loan John-Joe O'Toole shortly after John Welsh had opened the scoring in the 35th minute.
Tranmere remain one off the bottom and still five points clear of Southampton, who needed a 96th-minute equaliser from Radhi Jaidi to salvage a point from a 1-1 draw at Carlisle.

Third-from-bottom Wycombe also drew 1-1, needing an 89th-minute strike from Ashley Chambers to cancel out Kevin Amankwaah's 17th-minute opener for Swindon.

Leyton Orient lifted themselves out of the bottom four with a 1-0 home win over Millwall, with Andros Townsend scoring his third for the Os since arriving on loan from Tottenham during the summer.

Hartlepool were the league's highest scorers of the day with a 3-0 win over Walsall at Victoria Park thanks to a double from Andy Monkhouse and one from Colin Larkin.

Craig Alcock and Andy Welsh gave Yeovil a 2-0 win at home to Brentford, while a 76th-minute Pawel Abbott penalty was enough to give Oldham a 1-0 success at Southend.

At the Priestfield Stadium, there was a fifth 1-1 draw of the day as Gillingham were held by Norwich, who played the final 56 minutes with 10 men. After on-loan Newcastle goalkeeper Fraser Forster's dismissal, Simeon Jackson netted from the spot, only for the Canaries to grab an equaliser seven minutes into stoppage time through Darel Russell.

Review

Colin Todd's four-month reign at Darlington has come to an end in the wake of his side's failure to beat Grimsby.
Todd confirmed following a 1-1 draw at the Mariners that leaves the Quakers at the foot of Coca-Cola League with two points from nine games that only a win would have saved his job.
"It was agreed (with the chairman Raj Singh) before today's game that if we didn't get the win then I'd be leaving," confirmed Todd to BBC Tees.
"At certain levels you're dictated by results. The time factor sometimes isn't long enough, but you have to take the rough with the smooth."
Darlington, who had Jamie Chandler dismissed in the 75th minute, equalised six minutes later through Colin Main.
But it was not enough for Todd after Robert Atkinson had opened the scoring for Grimsby in the 21st minute.

Bournemouth remain top, but it required a winner in the 86th minute from Brett Pitman to see off Burton Albion and give the Cherries a fifth successive victory at the Fitness First Stadium.

Dagenham & Redbridge have slipped to four points adrift in second after they were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Morecambe, with Phil Jevons equalising from the spot after Josh Scott had scored for the hosts.

New Rotherham manager Ronnie Moore looked on from the Don Valley stands as the Millers ended Barnet's eight-game unbeaten run with a 3-0 win courtesy of goals from Kevin Ellison, Nicky Law and Adam Le Fondre.

The chasing pack occupying the play-off places in Aldershot, Rochdale, Shrewsbury and Notts County all enjoyed big home wins.

Fourth-placed Aldershot beat Cheltenham 4-1, who at least levelled via a Justin Richards penalty after Dave Winfield had opened the scoring, only for Anthony Charles, Marvin Morgan and Scott Donelly to ease Town home.

It was a similar story for Rochdale as they were pegged back by Mark Pugh following Chris Dagnall's opener, but on-loan winger Simon Whaley, Will Buckley and Craig Dawson added one apiece against Southend who had Ryan Green sent off late on.

Shrewsbury enjoyed a 3-0 win over Northampton, who suffered a fifth successive loss, with the Shrews goals coming from Jake Robinson, Joss Labadie and Kelvin Langmead.

Lee Hughes scored twice in a 3-1 win over Port Vale to take his tally to the season for nine to keep Notts County seventh and at least end the week on a high for the Magpies following the Sol Campbell saga.

Bradford are up to ninth as they stretched their unbeaten run to seven games with a 3-0 victory over Chesterfield at Valley Parade, with Michael Flynn, Scott Neilson and Chris Brandon the scorers.

Bury required two late goals from Ryan Lowe and David Worrall to defeat Lincoln 2-0 at Gigg Lane.

Whilst a brace from Hamza Bencherif helped Macclesfield come from behind at Moss Rose to beat Torquay 2-1 following Elliot Benyon's opener.

Round Up

Former Scotland international Scott Dobie struck just five minutes after coming on as a substitute as struggling Carlisle held table-topping Leeds to a 1-1 draw at Elland Road on Tuesday.
Dobie, who also scored as a replacement against Southampton on Saturday, cancelled out Jermaine Beckford's opener to end the home side's 100 per cent home record in the league.

Second-placed Charlton suffered a worse setback, going down 3-0 at Colchester, with two goals from Kayode Odejayi and an own goal from Miguel Angel Llera.

Bristol Rovers almost made it a winless day for the top three but were rescued by Andy Williams' 90th-minute winner in the 3-2 victory at Southampton.
Saints had twice led thanks to goals from Adam Lallana and Ndiaye Papa Waigo but Chris Dickson and Jo Kuffour pegged them back each time.

MK Dons will be disappointed with a 2-1 reverse at Oldham, while Huddersfield lost by the same scoreline away to Walsall.

Richard Logan scored three minutes from time to give Exeter a 1-1 draw at home to Swindon, with Norwich hammering Leyton Orient 4-0.
All of those goals came in a frantic final 15 minutes, with four different scorers netting for the Canaries, namely Chris Martin, Grant Holt, Michael Spillane and Jamie Cureton.

There was another 90th-minute winner at Brentford, where Kevin O'Connor completed a brace to down Southend.
Both his goals came from the spot to cancel out Simon Francis' first-half opener.

Hartlepool and Stockport drew 2-2 at Edgeley Park, while Tranmere defeated Wycombe 1-0 in front of their own fans thanks to Ian Thomas-Moore's early goal.

In the night's final League One clash, Millwall fought out a goalless draw with Yeovil.

Round Up

League Two pace-setters Bournemouth slipped to a shock 2-1 defeat against Hereford on Tuesday night.
Marc Pugh scored twice at Edgar Street, rendering Steve Fletcher's goal academic.

Dagenham and Redbridge also lost, falling to third in the process, as Barnet wrapped up a 2-0 win in their derby clash thanks to first-half goals from Paul Furlong and John O'Flynn.

Rochdale took advantage to move second, winning 2-0 at Darlington - Will Buckley and Chris O'Grady on target. The Quakers remain winless and in the basement.

Rotherham also came away with nothing on what was a poor night for the front runners, Ian Sharps' own goal helping Northampton to a 3-1 win.

Shrewsbury went behind to hosts Cheltenham after Barry Hayles' 60th-minute strike but recovered to win 2-1 as Dave Hibbert and
Joss Labadie netted within three minutes of each other.

Luke Rodgers scored a hat-trick to pick up a 3-0 win for Notts County over Lincoln, their second consecutive success since Sol Campbell's acrimonious departure.
However, it was not a good start to Chris Sutton's tenure as Imps boss - he watched from the stands before taking full charge on Wednesday.

Aldershot and Torquay drew 1-1 as did Burton and Macclesfield.

An 83rd-minute goal from Andy Dawson sealed a dramatic 3-2 win for Bury over Crewe, while three of the four goals in Port Vale's 2-2 draw with Accrington came in the closing five minutes.
Phil Edwards' penalty cancelled out Louis Dodds' early goal before Vale, who put all their players up for sale on Monday, appeared to seal the win through Tommy Fraser. However, Andrew Procter netted in the final minute to earn Stanley a point.

Finally, Bradford and Morecambe fought out a stalemate at Christie Park.

Round Up

Leeds remain top of Coca-Cola League One after their clash with second-placed Charlton ended goalless at Elland Road.
Leading scorer Jermaine Beckford twice went close for the Yorkshire side, who are now the only unbeaten side in any of the top four divisions in England.

Bristol Rovers missed out on the chance to close the gap as they were thrashed 5-1 at resurgent Norwich.
Chris Martin (9) set the Canaries on their way, and although Jeff Hughes (26) equalised from the spot, a penalty by Wes Hoolahan (31), Grant Holt's double (33 & 40) and a late strike by Jamie Cureton (90) made it a second resounding home win for Paul Lambert's men in the space of a week.

Colchester - whom Lambert left to head to Carrow Road - moved up into fourth after they beat Huddersfield 1-0 at the Weston Homes Community Stadium with an 80th-minute strike from Kayode Odejayi.

MK Dons remain in the hunt after Jermaine Easter took his season's tally to eight goals to condemn 10-man Brighton to their fourth defeat in five home games.
Defender Adam El-Abd (26) received a straight red card for a studs-up challenge on Richie Partridge.

Swindon extended their unbeaten league record to nine games as they won 3-2 at Brentford.
Alex Revell (8) and Ben Hutchinson (21) put the visitors in control, but Carl Cort (77) reduced the deficit.
Revell smashed home a 25-yard drive to wrap up the win before Charlie MacDonald (82) headed home at the far post from a corner, but it was not enough to salvage a point.

James Henry notched a hat-trick as Millwall hit five without reply against Tranmere to continue the pressure on Rovers manager John Barnes.
Tranmere finished the game with 10 men after Marlon Broomes was sent off. Andy Frampton and Steve Morison were the other scorers for the Lions.

Southampton reached positive points figures after they thrashed Gillingham 4-1 at St Mary's.
The Saints, who started with a 10-point penalty following administration, had a double from Adam Lallana help to earn them victory.

Exeter beat Hartlepool 3-1 after going behind, while Southend won 2-0 at 10-man Stockport with a second-half double from Lee Barnard after Paul Huntington had been sent off.

Scott McGleish's header gave Leyton Orient a 1-0 win at Wycombe, while a dramatic last-minute goal from Richard Keogh gave Carlisle a 2-2 draw at Walsall.

The match between Oldham and Yeovil finished goalless.

Round Up

Chris Sutton savoured his first win as Lincoln manager after Sergio Torres' goal was enough to beat Aldershot 1-0 at Sincil Bank.
The former Blackburn, Chelsea and Celtic striker saw Torres net in the 83rd minute to secure a third home win of the season for the Imps.

Leaders Bournemouth were held to a goalless draw at Port Vale. Marc Richards, Kris Taylor and Brett Pitman all hit the woodwork for the unlucky Cherries.

Rotherham closed the gap down to just two points after they won 3-2 at Crewe.
The home side, under the guidance of former boss Dario Gradi in a caretaker role, had led twice through strikes from Steven Schumacher (6) and Calvin Zola (51).
However, Rotherham equalised through Kevin Ellison's goal direct from a corner (15) and Adam Le Fondre's penalty (58) before substitute Drewe Broughton grabbed the winner with a superb lob after 85 minutes.

Barnet also kept up with the promotion chasers as they beat Grimsby 3-0 at Underhill.
John O'Flynn (11) put Barnet in front from the penalty spot before Albert Adomah (16) doubled the hosts' advantage and Yannick Bolasie (67) fired home a fine 25-yard strike.
Barry Conlon (87) was sent off for Grimsby late on.

Notts County were denied a third consecutive win as Elvis Hammond struck a late equaliser for Cheltenham.

Chesterfield beat Accrington Stanley 1-0 with a dramatic stoppage-time effort from Wade Small moments after Jamie Lowry had seen his penalty saved.

Macclesfield won 1-0 at bottom club Darlington through an own goal from the unfortunate Jeff Smith.

Hereford drew 1-1 with Dagenham and Redbridge, where there was a goal for each side in the last 10 minutes.

It was also all square at 1-1 between Morecambe and Shrewsbury.
However, both teams finished with 10 men after Danny Adams and on-loan West Brom midfielder Joss Labadie - who had earlier scored for the visiting Shrews - were dismissed.

John Johnson scored in the 90th minute to give Northampton a share of the spoils in a four-goal thriller with Bradford, who had led 2-0 at Sixfields Stadium, while Torquay and Bury drew 1-1 at Plainmoor.

I'm just hoping for promotion this season.
I've heard some bad news regarding our gun striker Jermaine Beckford. He's being targeted by Benfica. This would be a huge blow, but we've got adequate cover.
