Go Stoke, I can feel another great effort this year coming, staying well away from any relegation zone...

The 2009/2010 fixtures are out. Here's a link: (Fixtures are copyright, so please do not copy and paste any in here - stupid EPL  )

Fairly happy with Spurs first month, but our finish is horrid with Arse, Chavski, Man U and an away trip to Turf Moor on the final day make up our last 5 games.

Bring on August 15!!!!!

United go to Turf Moor on Match Day 2 as well... Tuesday night game.

Host Arsenal on Match Day 4 as well.

It is only 2 months away as well? It sure comes around quick...

You're probably right. I just kept hearing that word from the mad-keen stoke supporter who lived next door, but never saw it written. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the 15th of August. Hoping for a Stoke win, but if Burnley win I'll be pleased for JTC.

I went to stoke the season they won promotion sploosh. They have a very intimidating atmosphere, probably one of the most partisan set of fans I've seen on the road in recent years. The whole ground gets up and sings. Very impressive.

Not as good as the Clarets but not bad. Looking forward to it, win - lose - draw. Well maybe not lose

Reasonable start to the Potters this year and my guess is another mid table finish.

W 2-0 Burnley (h) Shawcross, Jordan (o.g)
L 0-4 Liverpool (a)
D 0-0 Birmingham (a)
W 1-0 Sunderland (h) Kitson
L 1-2 Chelsea (h) Faye
D 1-1 Bolton (a) Kitson

If we can hold out Man U this week then i will be a very happy man, i don't think it will happen but we'll see. looking the the pattern though tells me we are due for a win... we then have Everton (a), West Ham (h), Tottenham (a) of which i can see 4-6 pts coming out of them...

we struggle a lot away, looking at last year we were 2 4 13 with 16 goals for and 40 against! terrible form which seems to have continued at the start of this year (0 1 2, 1 for 5 against). this must be turned around for us to be a top 10 side let alone push the heavyweights...

only issue i can see is scoring goals. in 08/09 we scored 38 times which isn't enough, we need the forwards to get on the score sheet Fuller and Beattie haven't done a thing and it's been Kitson off the bench that is putting it in the net, albeit only twice! then there's the mids like Delap and Lawrence who are both capable and also now Whitehead. they need to extract a digit!!!

also just found out that Stoke are the oldest club in the EPL... interesting stat that one...

get up the Potters!!!!!

I hope that 4-6 points prediction is coming from the toffees and the spammers! cos you ain't getting nothing out of the Yids like last year!! ;)

although i'd love to see them take 9 points from those games my guess is we'll beat West Ham either draw to or beat the toffees and unfortunately drop the points to your Yids... as i've said away fixtures are generally not the most profitable for the Potters...
