Bully i thought we played ok, they sat deep and compact and only our last touch let us down. We sometimes over committed and left ourselves short at the back allowing them a few good chances. We also had a numerous opportunties to pull the trigger on the angle but kept trying to it oull it back inboard.... the 2nd goal showed the class gap between the sides also.

Ive never really understand one ruling in Soccer in particular, and thats the Hand Ball/Penalty, and the classic examples this week were the penalty given to Tottenham, but denied to Swansea.

Is the penalty only meant to be given for accidental hand ball? Is it a judgement call for the Ref (ie open to interpretation)?

But in seriousness a penalty should only be given for a deliberate handball where the player moves his arm towards the ball. If the player is trying to take evasive action or the ball strikes him accidently the penalty should be waved away

It's more judged on whether a player has his arm tucked in, in which case the ball would have hit the player anyway or whether the arm is outstretched away from the body and interferes with the play

I haven't seen it but if his arm and hand is away from his body it will be given wverytime

i agree, but I have seen plenty of times where its been ball to hand in the penalty box and its not given. Especially at OT
