Come on you know no one decent is coming to Arsenal or United. We both have nothing to offer the big name players

What the hell is going on at United?
Cant see him being the answer to our defensive woes.
Also sounds like there may be 3 ex Arsenal players at United, Song apparantly close to joining aswell

Micah Richards to west ham is floating

Would love to see a Reid and Richards centre back pairing.

and what do you suggest Man U will be in contention to win next season?

Champs league... oh wait, Europa league... nope,

now watch them come out and shake the title, win the FA and Carling cups

Didnt say we would win anything next season.
Van Persie came to United and won the league, something Arsenal couldnt offer him.
Same for Nasri and co at City

ummm no jim , he didn't or they didn't go elsewhere to "win titles". I think you will find they went elsewhere for more money. Wow, I even thought you wouldn't be dumb to believe " I want to go to Chelsea to win titles" or " I want to go to man city to win titles " as that's what they said

Maybe so but the two mentioned by Jim both won the title with their new clubs which is something they couldn't achieve at Arsenal. So whether is was for money or not, every player wants success and Arsenal couldn't offer success

I disagree, do you really think Van Persie would of came to us if we were a middle if the road side like we currently are?
We are offering players double and triple what they are earning now yet players still wont come over so id say success is a major point why players change.

Most cases its for money, Some - very minor is to "Win trophies"

getting paid 100,000 at your current job
you are offered the same work, just different location for 150,000 a year. Tell me, would most not jump at this?

Of course they aren't given out but you increase the odds by going to a club that is in the mix

True in work but sport is differant. We see AFL players take pay cuts every year to stay at a good club.
If United, Arsenal, City etc offer $100k and Villa, West Brom, Palace offer $200k I know which offer 90% of players will choose.

I keep seeing this transfer mentioned, surely not?

I would find it very hard supporting him, similar to Dracula (as romoured last window).

Tabloids also create alot of rumours and innuendo. Read 4 differant papers that all had differant stories on the same player in the last couple of days
