All good mate, I reckon Man Us second side would knock them off anyway, they're very ordinary.

Just make sure you only bring Your 3rd side to the last game at WHL. ;)

Will they?

Just before posters make comments about fielding weaker side. Man U starting 11 cost 260mil Arsenals 180mil.

It'd be a shame for the fourth team if Man U came 5th or 6th and won Europa!

Wouldn't matter would it? Just be 5 EPL teams in the CL

Doesn't matter if we do. England would get 5 CL spots so top 4 is guaranteed a spot

We were terrible just as predicted. Ironic that Wenger finally gets a win over Jose in probably the last meeting

I do believe that if we miraculously finished fourth and still won the Europa league that England would only get 4 spots

Fwiw, I think we'll both finish out the 4. I'd rather bomb out than play Thursday Friday games

FWIW, I reckon Liverpool have 4 points left in them, absolute best case scenario. Should lose to WH, then hope we can score 3 against Boro at home. Hopefully their fate is sealed prior to that game otherwise they'll park the bus, and we can't deal with that.

Honestly wouldn't be surprised if we wound up with 0 from the 6 on offer.

Apologies, didn't realise qualification had changed since when Spurs came 4th and missed out on a spot to Chelsea in 2012.
Or is the Europa Champ treated differently to the Champions League Champ?
As MH said I am a Spurs fan. Have about as much clue about the Champions League as an Arsenal fan would know about what happens if you win a knockout Champions League match. ;)

Europa has changed I think from years gone by, Jim would know.

If Man U won Europa AND Leicester won the Champs League, then only 3 would have qualified from the EPL.

Has changed.
CL winner gets auto entry to group stage
Europa winner gets entry into final qualifying stage.
England due to its coefficient can have a max of 5 CL spots and 2 EL spots.
If the CL and EL is won by a club outside the top 4 then 4th would still miss out

Arsenal jump to 5th and are only 3 pts behind 4th placed Man C after beating Soton 2-0. Crazy that there's a chance we can still finish in the top 4. If they do make it I would think the Board will give Wenger another contract

Really disappointed with the way Saints are finishing off the season. Playing drab football, averaging 2 shots on target per games over the past 6 games. Not good enough after what we have achieved in the past 3 years.
