not sure why Shawcross got a call up for england duties, being straight after the incident maybe england manager was feeling sorry for him??

On a good note tho Shawcross went to visit Ramsey in the hospital after the match still in tears i heard. I hold nothing against shawcross as they were both going for the ball. Was not all his fault IMO.

Wenger went a little over the top, diaby and eduardos injury yes i agree with him but not this one

Agree Bully - Shawcross definitely not to blame. Both players went at the ball 100% and Ramsey was unlucky simple as that.

Wenger bleats on about nothing at the best of time. He should have just accepted that they've lost a good player for a long period and that he hopes he's back soon.

Eduardo's was a horror tacke, Ramsey's was bad luck.

On Shawcross's England call up - it's completely deserved. He's been fantastic for Stoke this season. Good luck to him.

what a year in the EPL its shaping up to be :D . The top 3 and anyne can win it now with 3 points seperating the top 3.

race for fourth spot between Man city, Villa, tottenham and liverpool looks to go down to the wire.

And the relegation spots, with 6 teams involved seeing pompey doomed already with the penalty of 9 points to come.

think this will be the best EPL since it was formed, much better then the previous IMO was the year Blackburn won it.

Is certainly going down to the wire does anyone know how long Fabregas will be out with his hamstring injury? This will hurt the gunners. Man U struggled without Rooney on the weekend, but Scholes notched up his 100th league goal what a player he has been over the years.

i think liverpool might struggle again next season and a few players might walk if the promised championsleague football next season by rafa doesnt happen. will be sad to see them struggle.

Will be a very interesting game between Man Utd and LFC at old trafford in a few weeks

Just finished watching the replay.
Well done to Wigan.
The manager insisted they relay the pitch so they can play a passing game that he likes and they did that.
2 weeks to bed isn't quite going to do the trick though but at least they are showing some.
Liverpool were once again a bit lost going forward.
Kuyt was named as a forward behind the striker with Gerrard in midfield.
Why not just play 4-4-2 ?
There was plenty of remonstrating between the liverpool players in the 1st half which doesn't look great and is a sign of frustration. ( maybe the formation that started???)

Lucas was his normal productive self and in one spell had a 1-2-1-2 with yiros and they were flapping arms at each other.
It looked like Lucas was saying "why kick it to me?"............and I agree with that.
Torres looked very frustrated, Gerrard looked uninterested and Maxi looked like he didnt know where the hell he was meant to be cause Kuyt wasn't playing behind the striker but more to the right as he normally does.
Johnson came on after a long lay off and did nothing, in fact it looked like he had instructions not to go beyond the halfway line.
Babel came on with 10mins to go and looked like a player with a rocket up his KUYT......I REALLY THINK THIS LAD CAN BE A CHAMP......... Give him 5-8 games as a starter alongside Torres and tellhim if he f**ks up he's outta here.
I reckon he just needs that rocket to fire him up.

I still think we'll finish 4th but it will take some help from others.

watching the EPL replays the other night I noticed that during the Man U v Stoke game their was reference to Stoke being fined 50k for fielding a undermaned side last time they played Man U???? What is that about??? Dont Arsenal every time they play in the Carling cup play the juniors??

I just found it to be very odd.

That was against Wolves and it is ok to field an understrength side in the League Cup but you are supposed to play your strongest team in the League.

I still think it was a disgraceful decision by the FA to fine Wolves. Mick McCarthey should be able to do what he likes because his is the manager of the team.

Ledley King is Spurs best player, but we rest him for midweek games - should we be fined?

Wayne Rooney is Man U's best player, but he was rested for the Wolves game - should Man U be fined?

The side Wolves fielded in the game at Old Trafford wasn't disgraced by any stretch of the imagination, so what's the issue? Poor form FA.

I think he went a bit over the top, 10 changes is a lot, he should have kept it to a few and he may not have been questioned.
