After the good signing of Charlie Adam i cant believe Liverpool would waste their money on these 2 crocks. Downing is very ordinary and Villa would be pinching themselves getting £20m for a guy worth half that

Are you only saying Adam is a good signing because you're a Manc and want to see the dippers in the bottle shop again this season?

I reckon Adam is pants and last season was the case of the sun shining on a dog's butt...

I hope Ashley Young plays better when the season kicks off after what id seen when they played the MLS all stars today for United. Mario Ballotelli has to be sold, what a sook, looks like money has turned him into Bank (take the money but give nothing back in return).

Tyrone Mears and Chris Eagles Burnley to Bolton for an undisclosed sum. Eagles is a very good signing IMO. Bad news for the Clarets.

Aguero has finally been signed by Citeh. Question - how the heck are they going to pick a 25 man squad containing only 17 foreigners? Gonna be a fair amount of talent getting splinters at MiddleEastlands.

What a great signing in the context of things. The unknown numpty (honestly can't recall his name at the minute  ) to Liverpool for 20m vs N'Zogbia for 9.5. I know which I'd have prefered if I was a Reds fan. Well played AM!

how did N'Zogbia slide under the radar of the big clubs, surely Man City had a look in. Will Downing turn into another flopped transfer for liverpool, like kewell and Aquilani were. I think people might under estimate Dalgleish's managerial abilities, Liverpool will be an excellent side this year, watch out for carroll to take the league by storm

Aquilani has some ability and could be a big improver .. Needs to positively answer the question marks over his capabilities in the EPL and staying healthy.
