Portsmouth's financial crisis is in danger of jeopardising England’s World Cup campaign after the club’s crazy demands resulted in Stoke pulling out of a loan deal for James

Well, with the weekends results in, the top three have all consolidated their positions whilst the teams vying for fourth spot all missed an opportunity to improve their chances...

i still don't understand how the odds work for Chelsea and Man Utd. to me that says if you put $100 on Chelsea you will get $73 return, therefore losing money...
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

If you put $100 on Chelsea you get $173 if they win the title. Thats $73 for picking the winner plus your original bet of $100 back.

Good luck!

Massive result for the Redmen. A performance that lacked a little quality at times but what it lacked in quality it was made up for with pure heart.

Masch was immense, Kuyt colossal, Carra brilliant and Kyrgiakos could be the new Sami ;)

A word on Defoe, for all his obvious talent as a footballer he has to be the laziest sod going around. I lost count of the number of times he was caught offside strolling back from position. He doesn't work near hard enough for his team.

three winnable games on the bounce for Liverpool to come (Wolves away then Bolton & the derby at home)

Absolutely made up.

YNWA. In Rafa we trust.

Agree with every word of that. (Not 100% on the Kyrgiakos call - that back pass was deplorable, plus he should have scored twice)

Kuyt was amazing. Worked his knackers off all night. I'll even concede that Carra was outstanding too - I've not seen him play like that for a long time.

You're spot on - Liverpool didn't play with real quality, but the desire and desperation won the points.

Defoe was lazy, Palacios completely ineffective, King looked slow and past it, Dawson had a few shaky moments, Modric was annonymous and the few that I thought were OK for Spurs were badly let down by their team mates.

What did you think of Gypsy (Aquilani) preformance, I think he is starting to show why the scouse bought him from the gypsys and all he needs is some more game time and I think he will become a scouse favorite he has the talent and I think in tonights game he played quite well and he was also starting to take more risk's (i.e. the first liverpool goal) and will gain confidence so I guess he is doing well.......sadly
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Some of his touches looked very good, but he faded badly IMO. His first 10 mins was great, but did he play the remainder of the game?

yeah first 10 was great, but he is more of a central/holding midfilder then a attacking midfilder/treqiaquista and I kind of took into account he would fade due to comming back from the injury he still did what he had to do but yeah i think he should probley be only playing about 45 mins till he gets his fitness back up.

LOL .. I must admit to not seeing this mornings game, but I had to chuckle at this one! :D

Huge result for the boys, just hope they can keep fighting like this and hope that all the late lost points this season don't come back to bite.

Just seen another replay of Defoe's goal that was disallowed.

What a complete farce. How the **** could the linesman call that offside?

Howard Webb is a cheating sack of lard too. He just loves giving it (and receiving it no doubt) from the Sky 4.
