Hull played pretty well against Manchester United this morning. They had a few good chances. I think they deserved a point

How about Fabregas' performance last night? he was sensational, a true leader and showed why he is in the top echelon of world class players!

Have a look at the Spanish NT though, they have a superb midfield.. it is scary how good it is when Cesc can't even get a gig.. if he keeps this up and gets over his hammy problem he should play a decent enough part in the World Cup.. hopefully anyway.

LOL I was thinking this morning "Surely Pidge won't pipe up with this stingy rubbish again"???

We've dropped plenty of points in the last 10 minutes of our games this season, was nice to finally be on the right side of one!!

It always seems to be Liverpool that gets the late winners or equalisers, although Man United aren't bad themselves.

I guess i can't say anything. Leeds have scored 13 goals this season in the last 10 minutes of matches.

Good wins to both Man U and Le Arse this morning. Good to see my fantasy goal keeper Kuszcak keep a clean sheet! How good was Ramsey's goal this morning! I was thinking to myself just before he scored that he is quite impressive for a young fella (which is well known, but I hadn't seen that much of him before), in that his defensive work was as noticable as his offensive. And so it was, him getting the ball back off Portsmouth and then unleashing an awesome left foot shot from outside the box that gave Begovic no chance. Diaby is great to watch also. All in all, worth getting up at sparrow's fart for!

Gary Megson has been sacked by Bolton Wanderers.
He was never a popular manager and, even when playing the clarets his own fans turned on him when he made a substitution cnating "you don't know what your'e doing"

Havent heard that chant since Avrham Grant was manager at Chelsea.

Have Bolton got a manager on are they going with a caretaker for now?
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

They offered the job to Owen Coyle but he turned them down flat. rumour is they will offer it to Darren Ferguson (Alex's boy) who formerly managed Peterboro to successive promotions.

Not sure if its a good move or not, but the EPL is a different ball game than Leagues 1 & 2. Maybe they are hoping he has a few contacts ;)

I'd say there will be a few cancelled with many CCC and lower league games already called off:

Per JTC's post in another thread, the mercury dropped to -18 in many parts of the UK overnight, which basically turns all roads/footpaths into ice-skating rinks:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/8444862.stm

The EPL pitches are all fine for play on the weekend, but it's generally the conditions outside the ground that causes games to be postponed.

I personally hope Spurs game against Liverpool is caled off this weekend, allowing us to play the fixture in a month or so time when the scousers are in the middle of FA Cup replays and Micky Mouse cup games, plus we'll have Aaron lennon and Benny Assou Ekotto back.
