Spurs lucky to draw at Etihad after being 2 nil down.
Unlike him but it was two howlers by Lloris and a blatant penalty for City was also missed. City definitely played a lot better than Tottenham.
I think Spurs only had two shots on goal and they both went in!

Hammers sign Snodgrass for £10m.

After our disaster summer window of buying too many guys unfamiliar with the league. I'm liking the signings of Fonte and Snodgrass.

Fonte especially as he will slot straight into the side with Ogbonna out, but Snodgrass will prove to be a very good addition to the squad I feel.

Hull didn't want to lose him but he made it quite clear to the club he wanted out so there is not much more they can do. I don't rate him highly personally so with the money they get for him they can go and raid the lower leagues and pick up maybe 2 or 3 adequate replacements.
I think they know they ain't staying up this year

Despite the disappointing score, it comes no surprise at all.
Nine players unavailable due to injury, ten changes from the team that won at Anfield only three days earlier, and pre-match there was much more importance put on the upcoming two Premier League games by the manager rather than this FA Cup tie.
A 5-0 loss at home is bad, but against a team with much greater depth, that didn't play mid-week and with this comp being more than likely the only chance left to win something this season (barring a CL miracle) - we were always pushing shit up hill.
Puel came out yesterday & said he had to protect players. Everything's relative, including the final score.

Could see that coming a mile away, he never wanted to leave Marseille in the first place. Unfortunately for West Ham he took them for a huge ride

He played pretty well last season for someone who didn't want to be there? Players still have a say weather they go or not, why did he agree to leave in the first place?

Marseille were in a pretty bad financial state and had to offload a few of their better players. Payet and Bielsa the Marseille manager had a really good relationship and Payet was saddened to leave. He had a great year in the U.K. but I think many were surprised he signed a new 5 year deal considering his past history of skipping out of his contracts early

Spurs draw at Sunderlnd despite over 72% of possession and four times as many shots, grrrrr.
Arsenal lose to Watford at home.
Liverpool and Chelsea currently one all.
