:lol: And he's scored LOL. In the 6th minute....

In another "marquee" signing, I notice Chris Riggott is back at the club after playing less than 10 games in the last two seasons due to injury.

Depth signing ;)

Good to see Davies on the board early on with 3, and Bryson looks a find. Rate him over Pearson already :lol:

Thought I'd drop by and check this place out ahead of next season. Got room for Bully and me?

Thought you played well in Europe midweek, if you play like that in championship you will win more than you lose.
Watched a bit of championship so far this season and there is about 6 sides that are very, very ordinary. You will be safe

LOL. It's been a tough pre-season for Spurs. No club is too big to go down, but Tottenham has enough good players.

Those 6 sides will bob up and beat a top team or two along the journey - it's the Championship way.

Doncaster, Barnsley and Bristol City would be my favourites with a smokey in Watford, having lost their top scorer and highly capable manager.

What about that goalkeeping howler by yet another "marquee" signing Frank Fielding to gift you the points? I can only imagine the stick an ex-Blackburn keeper would have got from the Burnley fans for that one.

Ok lads, with the transfer window now jammed shut, what is everyone's thoughts on each respective squad?

I still think Wet Spam will do the business, but without Parker perhaps they'll struggle a bit in the middle of the park without that hardness.

Can the Seagulls continue their form? Gus is a brilliant manager and with the signing of Vincente, it could be the experienced head required to get them through a tough, busy period over Christmas when the men get sorted form the boys (or shirtlifters as the case may be ;) )

Anyhoo, I just wish there was more championship on the telebox, as this league will be far more interesting to follow in 2011/12!

true but West Ham have already officially signed Papa Bouba Diop, Ivory Coast International Guy Demel and David Bentley on loan for the full season and England Under 21 Midfielder from Arsenal Henri Landbury on a full season loan as well.

* BUMP *

Coventry v Derby is the live Friday night match on Sky Sports in the UK. Unfortunately, it's not getting a run here between the US Open tennis, Rugby World Cup and cricket from England. :(

Brighton and Southampton still setting the pace, Doncaster looking certainties for the drop.
Disappointing result for the Clarets conceding an early goal and struggling to get back into the game
