Bilic just had a presser and has stated categorically that we won't sell him.

And he expects him to return to the club with a better attitude.

Kinda torn, on one hand I say the **** him, wreck his career and let him rot out the next 5 years of his contract.

But also, that China money. If Oscar goes for $60m, Payet is worth at least $80m over there.

Really weak by Payet but he knows West Ham will have to cave in. Clubs can't afford to have players on their books that refuse to play

Didn't he extend his contract last season?

Not sure if he extended it. But signed a new improved 5 year deal.

It's starting to come out that he's been trouble all season. Missing trainings, big timing other players, refusing to talk to people. But Bilic kept sticking by him, supporting him and trying to work it out.

Now he's refusing to show up.

Starts to make sense why the same squad as last year has been so terrible. Only takes one bad apple to wreck the team chemistry. And we've had two with him and Diafra Sakho.

Hoping him not being around now might give a change of manager type boost to the squad. Get them playing for each other again. Cos that's been the most disappointing thing, how we've just given up in games. Payet being the main guy who's stopped trying.

Pretty pissed off that once again in sport a players signs an improved long term contract and less than a year into it (5 year contract) he nows is refusing to play.

If the club 'sacked' him they would be required to pay out his contract but when the foot is on the other hand clubs are simply held hostage and he can refuse to play until being sold.

I'm a massive Payet fan but his far from irreplaceable and his form this season has been average at best (explains the extra extra laziness he has shown to help the team when his not in possession this season)

The big problem is knowing us we will sell him for a reasonable amount and then go and spend it on someone who will get injured in the first month.

Even after signing the new deal which bumped his wages up massively.

He demanded another pay rise after brexit because the pound lose some value.

Didn't show up to trainings, caused a huge rift between himself and other players, would show up the day before games and say he's playing after not training.

Kouyate took him aside and said he's killing the locker room with these demands and strikes, and Payet eventually pulled his head in on those demands.

But the damage to the relationship with playing group had been done.

don't underestimate the move to the new ground. Any home ground advantage is gone for a season or two.

Spurs 2-0 over West Brom after 25 minutes. Could have been 4-0.
Things have got to change surely?

He was putrid last night. Didn't get much right at all and probably lucky to stay on the pitch.
I will cut him some slack though as he has been one of our best 2-3 players for the last 6-8 weeks. Definitely would want to hit back this week though

Diego Costa was left out of the Chelsea squad due to interest from china. Apparently a club is offering 60 or 80 million for him and 500k a week. I heard a rumour that at training he's been a nuisance trying to force the move and Kante even approached him saying if you want to go than go but apparently Abramovich is refusing to sell him. He was left out initially because the team trainer said he was overweight and has been lazy at training. Conte sided with his trainer rather than his star player and shit hit the fan. Bit of a bust up at training and Conte told him to **** off to China!
He has had several offers from China in the last few weeks so you think he would be on his way out as Conte is as tough as they come

And had a similar amount of goals wrongly disallowed away.
The refs are the worst they have ever been, every game now there is at least a howler or two. It's time to move into the 21st century with technology. Apparently the trials that have been going on in EPL games are starting to show some benefits so need to apply it to all games
