I know.. just letting off some 'unjust' steam ;)

Watched the game on tv (sad I know) the Ali challenge wasn’t as bad as I thought it was so yellow was a fair call. Was difinitely going down before contact was made though for the penalty, sorry DA. I know there was contact but Ali was already on the way down.

Arsenal trying to sell Sanchez to City in the Jan window but City have turned them down.

I can see why City would say no right now, why potentially destabilise the team when it is so clearly comfortable with what it is. But FFS, where is Arsenal's ambition. Is his contract up at the end of the season? If it isn't it says a lot about Wenger and Arsenal and why they are happy to finish 4th every year.

Anyway, as Hughes extends his contract at Stoke by another week the big question is will Pardew survive beyond January?
Only 3 goals and 2 points since his arrival is hardly the "new manager bump" that you normally get. Hodgson, Moyes and Allardice have all turned it around to some extent and yesterday's game against fellow strugglers was, in football parlance, "massive".

Early days yet and he might get a chance to prove himself in the January window where all the great underrated are overpriced, but for me, two of the bottom 3 are done and dusted. It's a matter of who will join them.

Yes his contract is up at the end of the year. They will just take him for free in the off season.

that would explain why they are touting him now although it doesn't say much for their ambition or their ability to attract and retain top players.

So he didn’t sign last year.

My point is just as valid.

It’s an Arsenal thing. They either just miss out on that great signing, or they sign some one who can’t wait to get away within a year.
Or they breed great talent that turns to crap until they leave and become great players again, Oxley Chaimberlain for example. Just imagine what Wilshire or Ramsey could have become if they hadn’t been stifled by Wenger.

They didn’t breed Oxlade Chamberlain, he was from St Mary’s.
Just another player Arsenal mishandled.

He seems to be on the road to recovery now he’s at Liverpool. Said so himself in a recent interview. He was t so scathing but the point was made.

Lol, no way Ox was ever going to play CM at Arsenal. He played there a few times and didn’t have good matches. And on Sanchez he’s been a massive child how he’s been handling his final year. No doubt he’s leaving. He’s been giving the ball away 30 plus times a match and doesn’t track back like he used too. Ozil on the other hand has been class with how he’s handled his final year. You’re acting like we’ve let so many gun young players leave who have starred elsewhere. Can you name them? Whilshere has hardly been played out of position and would say injury has courted his potential. Not sure if you remember his first year where he starred with Fabregas and Nasri and since then has been in the medical room more often than not. If you want to talk about players who have been stiffed and then left to become great players look at Chelsea. Their list would be longer than Arsenal’s

Harry Kane scores and breaks Shearer's record and equals Messis amount of goals for 2017.
