Was a bit worried the short break might disadvantage us but we never looked like losing.
The plastics look a bit overhyped.

They had a bad day, will still romp it in.
Spurs and Liverpool haven't got the depth to go the distance. City to finish runners up especially if they have a decent transfer window. Today's loss for Chelsea probably hurts the chasing pack as they had a few deficiencies shown up today and Roman will get the cheque book out

Tottenham though have a lot of substance and grit about them these days, they look the most capable of challenging Chelsea.

Liverpool don't have European games to worry about which helps. You shouldn't bother too much with winning the League Cup either ;) , midweek home & away semi finals both leading into league matches with Man Utd & Chelsea can cause headaches - best be playing a second string side in the cup...

Cristiano Ronaldo being offered over £1.7m per week[emoji15]
It will crash eventually, it's not sustainable. There are already several cases of foreigners being owed money or simply having their contracts torn up at a whim by the club.

It's only the middle tier players or ones at the end of their career going there so far. Can't see anyone decent going there, most of them would prefer to play in a decent league

4-0 win for United, score flattered Reading. They are lucky it wasn't 10-0, had their first and only genuine chance in the 92nd minute whilst we had about 30 chances

A 'super computer' has been programmed to estimate what the final Premier League standings will be come May, and looks like it may be pretty spot on with its prediction.

Despite being the first week of 2017, many a football fan may want to put their money where their mouth is and predict the final line up, and having a go on this wouldn't be a bad bet.

Here it is:

1. Chelsea
2. Liverpool
3. Manchester City
4. Manchester United
5. Tottenham Hotspur
6. Arsenal
7. Everton
8. Southampton
9. West Bromwich Albion
10. Bournemouth
11. Stoke City
12. West Ham United
13. Leicester City
14. Watford
15. Burnley
16. Sunderland
17. Crystal Palace
18. Middlesbrough
19. Swansea
20. Hull City

Man U want £22M for Schneiderlin and Liverpool want £20M for Sakho. There's proof that you pay overs in this transfer window.

£22m is chicken feed these days. Schneiderlin is a decent player and regularly plays for France, just doesn't suit our system and was a bit of a panic buy at the time. I'd expect him to do well at Everton

Hasn't played for France since 2015, but agree he is decent player who will do well at Everton.

Dimitri Payet has requested to leave.

Bilic just had a presser and has stated categorically that we won't sell him.

And he expects him to return to the club with a better attitude.

Kinda torn, on one hand I say the **** him, wreck his career and let him rot out the next 5 years of his contract.

But also, that China money. If Oscar goes for $60m, Payet is worth at least $80m over there.

Really weak by Payet but he knows West Ham will have to cave in. Clubs can't afford to have players on their books that refuse to play
