Like I said to JTC when he also says this.

Yes , Burnley did have say into the FA and the way this were done and founded back then, but surely since then, if they didn't, all those years ago, surely someone would have thought "Hey lets put a football league together" by now

Like a famous scientist said hundreds of years ago " all that can be invented , has been invented"

Coongrats to them and I thank them yes for sure for allowing us to play this league...

Other clubs did try and put a league together, United (as Newton Heath) and 11 other clubs formed the Alliance league the year after the FA was founded, the league was on the verge of folding and it was decided to merge the Alliance and FA which now had a second div. Despite not winning the Alliance league we were invited by the FA to play in Div 1 so we owe a debt of gratitude to the founding clubs for admitting us to the league. Both mine and your clubs are technically Johnny come latelys LOL

Sorry cossi

Burnley signed NI and ex Fulham central defender until end of season
See him twice and he looks like reliable cover for Trippier if missing some of his flair

Getting closer to silly season and United being linked to everyone with Glazer comitting £250m towards new players.
Kroos has been offered £260k per week to leave Bayern, its nearly double what they can offer him but reckon he will stay. More chance in getting Reus from Dortmund.
Luke Shaw deal appears close with United offering £30m to Soton. Nani + £50m to PSG for Cavani also growing legs

Would be happy with that, very average defender, good for atleast a goal a game with his errors. Tends to also push up too far and gets caught out on the rebound far too often which leads to make silly tackles

That would suck for Barca given they can't recruit

Reckon Messi has seen the signs that they are going to do a United and slip down next season. Barca will go trophyless this season and have an ageing defence aswell as the fact they cant recruit next year. Might be a win/win for both parties, Barca slip down a bit next year and then the following year they have a fistfull of cash to splash
