Exactly the wrong time for a game to start.
An important game in the context of staying in touch with the top 5. The other sides have easier games, Man U play Southampton and Leicester have Stoke from memory. Arsenal don't play this weekend I think.

Arsenal are the early game vs Chelsea

Hopefully we have caught City at a good time.

Traditionally there is more upsets when these sides have had to play midweek Champions League games

City also with a few players carrying slight knocks such as Sterling, Kompany and Aguero.

In saying that Ogbonna is going to be out for at least 3 weeks.

Interesting weekend coming up and a huge test to see if we can stay in touch with the top of the table.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Thanks Bully.
I might live to regret this comment but West Ham with a perfect away record so far this year. Arsenal 0-2 and Liverpool 0-3. Two lovely away scalps.

Just a matter of time till the fourth goal in this one. Just hope it's us on the counter.

Decent chance it'll be city level however.

Winston Reid in absolute beast mode. Somehow stopping seemingly infinite chances for city here.

Ref needs to get the cards out for the diving pricks though instead of just waving away all their penalty claims.

West Ham's next 5:
Norwich (H) currently 12th
Sunderland (A) " 20th
Crystal Palace (A) " 7th
Chelsea (H) " 13th
Watford (A)" 9th
As a West Ham fan of 35 years I don't have the confidence to count any of them as wins yet, but this is the best start to a season I remember for us, and the next five at least look manageable for us. There's a good possibility that we'll still be in touch with the top 5 after round 11.

Yeah off to a good start. We are set up so well to play away from home. So well organised defensively as a unit, cracking pace and creativity on the break.
Just need to click at home, the Newcastle game was positive but they are an horrendous outfit at present.

Also I'm still not sure how you don't remember last season how we were not only in touch, but a game clear inside the top four at Christmas. Decent start.
