I doubt he will be allowed to go to a rival EPL club but he would be on the top of my list to recruit.
Fantastic player

Sounding like Berbatov off to Arsenal.
An ex Spurs and United player should go down well with their supporters. I already know a couple who are sickened at the thought

Joleon Lescott is attracting the attention of some clubs, one of which is Aston Villa.

Our (Villa's) defence needs bolstering so I reckon we should push for a loan move until the end of the season. That's probably the only chance as would have no hope of matching his wages at City or paying the transfer fee they'd want.

Lescott grew up supporting Villa and he could do with some first team action with the World Cup coming up.
Gives us a glimmer of hope!

Chavs have come in with a £30m bid for Rooney, reckon he will go this time. No secret he doesnt get on with Moyes and he wants to be playing CL next season which we wont be able to offer him. He has publicly stated his decision will be based on if United can recruit well enough to ensure they around the mark for next season

Everton have apparently signed Aiden McGeady from Spartak Moscow on a pre contract to join as a free in the summer. Have had mixed reports about this guy...

Am also hearing a fella by the name of Tom Ince might do the same thing.

Very similar to the AFL trade period.
Lots of crap and rumours for a month with very little action and then with an hour to go before deadline its chaos as clubs scramble to get the paperwork completed on time.
Wont see many big moves this period id imagine

Hull City have agreed a fee for Nikica Jelavic said to be 5.5M and could rise to 7 in add ons. They need to agree terms with him and then it will be done.

Stoke have signed Stephen Ireland on a permanent deal after the first half of the season on loan from Villa

also signed 21 yr old Swedish international John Guidetti on loan from Man City until season end.

anyone know much about him? he played on loan at Feyenoord in 11/12 and scored 20 from 23 matches including 3 hat-tricks then missed last season with a leg injury and scored on his return for Man City 21s in a BOG performance recently so it appears that he has some goal nouse which will be nice for a change! maybe he'll get a start against Palace... we'll see
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

Can definately play, should be a good pickup. Has a real keen eye around goals, saw a bit of him at Feyenoord and looked real quality. Have to laugh at the papers pumping him up as a Swedish international as he has only came on for 20 minutes as a sub, played a fair bit of underage rep football though
