Clarets stun Chelski and their Chavski fans by taking the lead with a well worked goal.
Bit of luck involved with their reply coming off the post before being deflected through Duff's legs wrong footing Heaton.
2nd goal was sublime, and the through ball from Fabregas was sensational. He didn't put a foot wrong all night without really dominating.

Clarets showed Chavs too much respect IMO and I would have preferred them to get stuck in with a few tough tackles and put a bit of pressure on the man with the ball instead of giving possession and ground to them.
Still it's easy to say, and Chavs were very quick.

Not disgraced in the 2nd half and made a couple of good chances to pull a goal back but a Chelsea was always cruising once the 3rd had gone in.
Next up at the Turf is Man Utd, and I think we might just fair a little better??

Disappointing to see them going down so easy and the penalty claim was a joke, and was rightly booked for it.
When they felt they needed to cheat against lowly Burnley is beyond me.

He had a cracking pre season and was probably the only par performer in the 5 pre season games

Let see if he can string a few games together though

Always a chance he'll go well with less pressure/expectation, he's always been like that (fair goals tonight too)

Ahhhh west ham so predictable

Should have been 3-0 and then palace score to make it 2-1

This will finish 2-2 or 3-2 palace

No surprise West Hams best performance in years was off the back of the slag Nolan being injured and not wasting the number 10 spot.

If Aladyce plays Nolan ahead of Zarate when his fit again there will be anarchy inside Upton Park

Ex Caret Nathan Dyers sinks us with a good solo goal.
Once again exposed how weak we are at the back as he cruised first past Mee and them past Duff.
Bless em both but neither are up to EPL standard and we really do need to try and fix it before the deadline, even if it's with loanees.

I think we need to stop swishing too much respect to teams. We did it on Monday and again for the 1st half against Swansea. 2nd hf we got stuck into them and actually deserved a point.

A week to go before deadline so all is not lost although there isn't much activity in the transfer department at Turf Moor so I'm not holding my breath
