All of the Championship finals should be shown live on Fox. The League One final will be shown on Fox as well but the League One semis will not be shown at this point. It is unlikely the League 2 Final will be televised.

Blues2002, take this as a verbal warning. No more foul and abusive language on the Soccer board ;)

5:20 kick off tomorrow. Can't wait and dreading it at the same time. Ulcer is going crazy, stomach is going crazy, ar5e is going.............. well you all get the picture.
No customers this week, just family and friends so Mrs JTC says I can get blottoed tomorrow ( I have to humour her)

Then off to Reading on Tuesday, back Wednesday. We have booked a room on the Madjeski Stadium Hotel (if we lose I'm gonna trash the room in a drunken rage ;) )

Tonight

PNE 1 - 1Blades

So honours even after the 1st leg. PNE scored in the 1st half with Sheffield scoring almost from the kick off of the 2nd half.

Typical blood and guts CCC game between to honest teams. Except for Lupoli who was booked 4 mins into added time for trying to handle the ball into the net

Clarets turn tomorrow (just in case I hadn't told you already)

Worst day of my life.
2-0 up, miss a penalty, lose 4-3. Shattered.

Iincidentally, if you are looking for omens, Burnley are to only side of the four finalists to have actually won a play off final.

Get in you Clarets! Prevailed 1-0 after a relatively dull encounter judging by the Skysports updated.

Clarets copped a bit of a battering in the 1st half, but bounced back and went 1-0 via Alexanders penalty in the 87th.

Hope you gave Bikey a send off JTC. What a muppet.

Bring on Madejski. No Doyle, no Bikey. Come on you Clarets!

Oh yeah, and Reading were EPL standard.

Shite game, full of tension. Ref was diabolicle. Typical premiership ref that blew for every tackle. Burnley were honest, typical CCC players, Reading were a bunch of ex EPL pansies, playing for every free and getting them.

Reaction from the Reading fans after the final whistle was a disgrace. Take it you muppets, 1 - 0, end of game.

Bikey, a disgrace, and his reaction after stamping on Blake, what a wanker. Thought Coppell's after match interview was very honest, Bikey is a dickhead and ther is no room in a Reading side for that sort of behaviour. And as for the Reading fans, takiing it out on Blake, look at the reply you ****. A blind man on a galloping horse could see that Bikey stamped on him, no accident, just a malicious deliberate act.

As for the game, it was shite. We missed Elliot today and Eagles was out of sorts. Took a heavy knock early on and that effectively killed off our wing play. Burnley like to play football, on the deck and use the wings (Elliot is not top of the CC stats table for crosses, for nothing) but without him and Reading taking Eagles out of the game early with a poor lung meant we were resigned to hoofing through the middle.

Long striker Paterson had no chance against two 6'5" centre backs, but to be fair to him he did a lot of leg work. The two Reading centre backs were pathetic. Durberry and Bikey must both be 16 stone plus, and 6"odd, and both went down quicker than whore at a porno party sucking frees from an ever willing EPL donkey.

We were lucky in the 1st half but that is down as much to Readings inability to capitalise as it was to our defending. Beast pulled off a great double save and Patto did his job on line with a goal saving chest. But apart from that 10 minute spell where Reading should have scored, they didn't test the keeper for the rest of the game.

Burnley lost play maker Gudjohnsson and Reading lost doyle fairly early on and that was pretty much it for both sides. Kitson came on and offered nothing except for a bit of comedy for the Burnley fans. And what is it with Reading. and that abysmal orange kit. FFS is that the best they could come up with.

With Eagles clearly carrying a knock and Burnley forced to play the long ball game through the middle, Coyle brought on Thompson to support Patto up front and add some height to the forward line and with McDonald in the middle, these two made the difference for the clarets in the 2nd half. As for the peanlty, Reading can have no complaints, Coppell readily accepted it and the replay clearly shows the shirt pulling on Blake. Up stepped Mr Reliable Alaexander who slotted through is 26th consecutive penalty goal. The Reading fans can cry until doomsday, it was a penalty and that's that.

As for the 2nd leg. Not happy that we only have a 1 - 0 lead to take to the Madjeski, but we have the consolation that Reading have been shite at home, so we will just have to see.

It always makes me laugh when i read things like "Bunley were pile of crap" Read the scoreline blues2002. Just in case you missed it, 1 - 0. So what does that say about your bunch of ex premiership losers.

Reels in big claret coloured fish. Or is that a little fish *rofl*

Love the passion though JTC :-)

I thought both teams were crap.
That standard was no where near Premier league I am sure we both agree.
Lets hope the return leg is a cracker.

Best of luck to the Clarets. I just hope they play the whole second leg like they did in the 1st half :D

That's the problem with play off games. With a £40m pay out for the winners, they have so much at stake the nerves and pressure of not losing, gets in the way of good football.

Burnley have played some terrific football this season beating 5 premiership sides on the way. In fact thier record against premiership sides this season reads W5 D1 L1. A records Toon, Boro or Hull would love to have over thier last six games.

As for fishing blues2002. Wrong time mate. ;)

I'm off to the Madjeski on Tuesday am. We have a room booked in the stadium hotel and after seeing the Reading fans reaction on Saturday, it's probably a good thing we only have to walk from the South stand to the West stand. Back on Wednesday. And with a bit of luck, the London odessy with continue ;)

Managed to get this game playing on my laptop, just in time to see Burnley's second goal. What a goal it was too! Lobbed straight over the keeper.

Burnley 2-0 up at the 60 minute mark.
