At the beginning of the season, there was a thread on a liverpool forum stating Downing was better than Bale. I'll happily admit that Bale is a bit overrated, but PLEASE, Stuart Downing? LOL

So he should be he almost ended in the drop with a team far better than any team in the drop or just missing it, they should of been mid table at a min. He also a horrible manager who tries negative tactics but doesn't actually get the result when doing so. I'd rather have gary megson then alex mcleish and that is really saying something, no matter who villa hire it will be an improvement.

No suprise there, was a great team. Always amazed they never went on with it, that side should have won 3 or 4 in a row

At todays award ceremony to celebrate 20 years of the EPL Sir Alex was named best manager and Ryan Giggs was named best player.
A best 11 was also picked with 7 United players named.
