Hammers with their 3rd 3-1 victory for the year and move up to 4th. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES thats right not fourth from bottom but fourth from top.

Difference was the quality in finishing,

Burnley probably should have been two goals up at half with a domination display (in saying that though Downing hit the post and Sakho should have finished a header from 6 yards out)

In the second half the two in form West Ham strikers took their headers extremely well with Sakho scoring his 6th goal in 6 games to break the West Ham record for most consecutive top flight goals. After scoring a goal in each game for Ecuador during the International break Valencia scored a breathtaking header to put the hammers 2 up.

Burnley got one back after a goal keeping howler by Adrian

Carlton Cole came on and scored the sealer and could have had a hattrick with a bit of luck.

Big game at home to Man City next week, really important for the hammers in the title race, we cant slip up at home and let Man City extend the gap at the top from us. ;)

Some of the goals were due to parklands defending. The only thing missing was the Benny Hill music.

0-0 at the half at Loftus, but no idea how QPR aren't at least 2 goals up. Been by far the more lively and less error riddled side

The 'Rs have looked solid at the back and have easily created the best chances.

Fer should have scored the first one and then Skrtel saved Mignolet's butt bigtime with the clearance of the second chance.

Gerrard has had zero influence on the game in that first half but had the best chance for 'Pool putting an effort just wide.

Cracking save by mignolet early in the second

One of the weirdest games I can recall seeing us play. QPR would and should be filthy they didn't take at least a point, if not 3.

1-1 at the Brittania at half time between Stoke and Swansea

Swans looked likely early with some great precision passing and a couple fantastic chances that werent taken

Swansea earned a penalty from a regulation Ryan Shawcross challenge at a corner, i'm surprised he doesnt get called for it every single game because he does it week after week after week, i just hope he doesnt earn himself a red in the second from it

Moses then got pushed over by a Rangel pinkie which really wasnt a pen but the angle Oliver was on he called it. Adam dispatched it nicely to set up the scoreline

Stoke definately lived up to the name 'Rugby FC' in that half by going in very rashly at times, Bardsley doesnt give many choices but a foul almost everytime,

A very open half with plenty of space in behind the mids for both sides, expect to see another 2-3 goals in this one

Pretty fair summary Hammy

Need to take your chances in the EPL
You did, we didn't. End of story

A lot to like about the Clarets though. Just lack a bit of depth.

Great game to watch, with 2 honest teams giving it all. Only two free kicks in the 1st half and Burnley didn't concede a free until about the 75th minute.
Bit disappointed with no 30 who feigned injury when no contact was made and I thought the ref was going to book him but decided to issue a bollocking instead.
Apart from that a good effort by both teams and well reffed. Would have been prefect had we won.

Agree lots to like about Burbley, both Tripper and Boyd bossed the first half and Burnley played with speed flairand great attack

Alex Song was the diver, on loan from barca so pretty standard plan for those blokes and I agree diving and faking injury should be a bookable offence every time

The game reminded of what you see in the championship alot
