:(( :(( Absolutely loved watching this guy play! so calm on the ball and has very good foot skills, i never thought he would hand in a transfer request! But its all a business i guess.

He was our highest paid player on 75k a week i reckon so that will free up some cash to help with the financial issues at Goodison Players. This will also give a regular spot in the side for the much touted Jack Rodwell providing he can keep himself fit, looking forward to watching him in full flight.

We also lost Yakubu, no great loss as i think he is one of the laziest players going round, having saif that when he is on he is hard to stop!

We picked up 2 players on loan and Drenthe looks promising at only 24, kind of like the deal with Arteta, picked him up at 23 or 24 on loan and then eventually signed him, so looks like good business from Moyes again.

Looking forward to seeing these boys in action. I am happy about one thing though, we still got Timmy :D

Jermaine Beckford to Leicester for 3mil and could rise to 4mil
 Anichebe is going to be the main man now with Saha always out injured. I wouldnt say Anichebe is the most fittest or healthiest player, he is always in and out too.
Guess this paves the way for the young lad Vellios and the new signing Stracqualursi, both are tall and young and i would expect Moyes to ease them both into the season.

Gutted at Arteta's move to the Scum. He's an absolute star and I've maintained is one of the most underrated players in world football.
IMO, he'll be amazing for the Gooners. Totally GAY.

Mertesacker you can have. He's trousers.

I know this is a transfer thread so this should be talked about in the discussion thread but...
There is plenty left at Everton don't you worry about that, Arteta is not the only decent player down there, he might of been our highest paid player but doesnt mean he was the player holding the team together.

Firstly we have the following first team international players on our list
Howard, Baines, Jagielka, Cahill, Heitinga, Bilyaletidnov, Fellaini, Coleman (these are the main ones).

We have up and coming youth in Rodwell, Barkley, Gueye, Anichebe and Vellios

And then we have the solid performers like Distin, Osman, Neville, Saha (when is isnt injured) and Hibbert (as much as i dislike him).

There is still a very talented squad there and a lot of potential. We by no means have a squad that can win the title but we have a squad that can take it to the top end teams. Yeh we have lost Arteta and Pienaar over the last season but it aint the end of Everton FC. With the 2 new loan signings i would expect Moyes to work his magic and within 2 years people will be saying Arteta who...

That is all!
