Go on mate, it will be comedy!

Great night. Pleanty of ale, good food and mixed it with the players too. Gave Chris McCann a big pat on the back for the huge amount of cash he has won me this year. He even asked for a cut

Player of the year was Robbie Blake.
Young player of the year was Chris McCann
Players player of the year was Graham Alexander
Goal of the year was Jay Rodrigues for his goal against Forest when we won 5 - 0

Now for Sunday. I am cr4pping myself. Stomach is churning and has been for days. Early kick off 1:15 on Sunday and we have some Bristol City fans in the box this week.

Come on you Clarets.

Good luck JTC - but if it turns "pear shaped" then you can always look fwd to next season and the re-emergence of the foxes! ;)

No matter what happens tomorrow, this season has been one of the best I can remember in all my time of following Burnley. so I thought I would list a few of my personal highlights.

Being so proud to entertain DA and his good lady at the Burnley v Preston game. Warm sunny day, the pitch in perfect condition, a full and passionate house with heaps of noise, and a Burnley win. Perfect day.

Jay Rodrigues: Another superstar in the making, scoring in the last minute against Fulham in the Capital Punishment run, and scoring in the last minute of extra time against QPR in the FA Cup reply.

Chelski..............what can i say about this one. Ecstasy, pure ecstasy. Ade scoring, Elliot missing his penalty and then the Beast. Six and a half thousand fans in the shed end going bananas, six and a half thousand fans taking the piss out of Frank. "big fat, big fat Frank, big fat, big fat Frank, big fat big fat Frank, big fat Franky Lampard"..........classic.

Wade Elliots ripper of a volley putting WBA to the sword at Turf Moor in the FA Cup in a memorable 3 - 1. Too good, to much desire to win. WBA, you are a rabble. And Burnley set up another battle with the mighty gunners.

Doing the double over those rancid Seasiders. Pathetic staduim, pathetic fan base. It's always nice to put them in their place and at Turf Moor we really put them in their place. 3,000 seasiders filed into the Cricket Field stand and by the end of the game, only a few hundred were left. "Bye bye bye bye, bye bye bye bye."

Taking our chances and our luck against Arsen's babies. Was away in China for this one but listened on-liine and Burnley were magnificent. Didn't expect to win to be honest, and not being there, this only just creeps in as a highlight. Just more capital punishment

White Hart Lane. Ok so we went to sleep in the 2nd half but when that goal went in to put the Clarets 1 - 0 up, what a feeling. Burnley were all over Spurs like a rash and 5,000 Claret fans out sang the Yids all night long. Even when Spurs went 4 - 1 up, the clarets just kept on singing. Still brings a tear to my eyes.

Coming back from 2 - 0 down at home to Palace to win 4 - 2. Fantastic effort topped off by watching wanker Warnock have a right dummy spit on the touch line. For me, this was the defining game that showed the rest of the league that the Clarets are serious contenders for the play off's. Burnely were back. Warnock was fuming and picking an argument with anyone who would listen, Owen Coyle, the 4th Official, the Linesman, the Ref, the Burnley fans in the stand behind the dug out and eventually his own players. Pure comedy and so so satisfyinig to watch.

A third trip to London, this time to the fantastic Emitates stadium. Another long week end, another show, another chance to see the sights, and a bit of comedy to boot as Mrs JTC decided to book return flights and hotel til Wednesday so we could stay down and catch the Palace game. Only thing was we were playing Palace on Wednesday not Tuesday, and to top if off, we were playing them at Turf Moor. Anyway, not withstanding that mighty cock up, it was a great day out at Arsenal. Fantastic stadium, and although Arsen didn't take any chances this time, bringing on Eduardo, Fabregas, Bentnar et all to win 3 - 0, it was great just to be there. Another 5,000 (that's all we could have) Claret fans having a party in the rain. But what happened to the Gooners. Quiet as mice?

Another trip to China and another important game. This time a must win game at home to Sheff Utd. Up at 3:00am to listen, flat battery on my phone meant I had to sit on the dunny in the hotel so I could plug it in. 1 - 0, get in and then the long, long wait for the final whistle as Sheffield through everything at us except the kitchen sink. 5 bloody minutes of added time, and then Yes, another 3 points and the pressure was back on Preston.

Finally, I had to save this one until last. In the pouring rain and against all the odds the clarets had to win by 3 clear goals against Arry;s army. There are so many highlights about this game it's hard to know where to start. Robbies fantastic free kick to put the clarets 1 - 0 up. The fight the Clarets showed throughout the game was incredible, and then Chris McCann made it 2 - 0 with 10 minutes left. Suddenly the spurs faithful went quiet, very, very quiet. The mighty Spurs were playing 10 at the back and running scared. Then it happened...............jesus bloody christ it happened. Jay puts it in with 4 minutes left. We were 3 - 0 up. We were going crazy jumping up and down and hugging each other. The impossible had happened and it was Burnley the had achieved it. Burnley never do this........never. Without a doubt the most emotional night of football in my life. Jumpiing up and down, hugging your mates, oblivious to the torrential rain, my head was boiling, we were downing sambuccas like they were water, incredible. And then......................blackout.

Who knows what will happen tomorrow, and even onwards from there. With a bit of luck, I can add to this list but even if our season ends tomorrow, what a great one it has been.

It was a higlight of my year too mate. Awesome day at Turf Moor, loved every minute.

The Yids still talk about how good the Clarets support was. Wish I was there to see for myself. :(

Fingers croseed the Clarets still have a bit left in te tank. IMO, this game and the playoff games if they get there are far more important than the cup runs. Owen will have the boys firing no doubt. COME ON YOU CLARETS!

Qtr to 9 here. 4 1/2 hours to go. Early kick off and a Sunday game. The roosters have just lost too so I hope that isn't an omen.

The problem is do I wear my Claret and Blue striped socks or the black ones with the claret badge on them. The claret and blue ones have done ok this year but let me down a couple of times so I switched to the black ones for the Sheff U game. It seemed to work so I wore them again for the Soton game last week and they didn't really come through for me.

So what the **** do I do now. If I switch back to the claret and blue striped ones, it might just do the trick or it might just tip us over the edge. Stay witht the black ones after they let me down last week, do I give them another chance, with so much riding on this game.

One thing is for sure, if I don't wear one of them we will lose for sure. I am even thinking of maybe wearing one black on and one claret and blue one, but surely it is too late to start experimenting.

This is really serious stuff this guys.............. make the wrong choice and Burnley could be out of the play offs and it would be my fault. And thanks to me, our season would be blown away.

Even if I wore both pairs, would that work for us or agaiinst us. or should I wear the black ones but take the claret and blue ones with me so if we go one down at least I could change them to give us a chance of winning. Somehow I think that is the best option. i could at least say, that I gave us a chance.

But which pair should I wear for the kick off. It's alright changing them if we go a goal down, but that would still be my fault for putting the wrong pair on to start with and then what if we can't get a goal back. FFS, this is shite. I hate decisions like this. THere's just too much resting on it.

Wear one of each, but have the other one under it.

i.e Stripe on one leg with black under, black on the other leg with stripe under....

Hope it went well JTC !!

Well done on making the playoffs Burnley. They hold a 2-0 lead at the break.

PNE are 1-0 over QPR and Cardiff are 0-0 at Hillsborough.

Huge second half. Hopefully Cardiff can find a goal, hit the front and we are looking ok, but it would be nice if QPR could pull one back.

Good luck to you boys involved in the results in the second half. JTC looks safe with Burnley and I must say would like to see Cardiff make it as they would stir up some passion if they made to the top level.

I'd have gone with both pairs JTC on but in an odd setup like Jabber mentioned! Whatever you did got the job done though.

4-0 Clarets!! Brilliant result. The season's not over yet. Now you have hopefully a couple of trips to Wembley. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it will be Reading v Clarets and Sheff U v PNE to begin with? Burnley has already beaten Reading this year and proven that no task is too big per the capital punishment results!

Well done to Wolves and Brum for gaining automatic promotion. Wolves were clearly the best side in the Championship this year and Brum have done well to head straight back up.

At the other end of the table, it must have been a tough day for the canaries going down to already relegated Charlton, resulting in Norwich joining Charlton and Southampton in League 1 next season. All 3 clubs have had stints in the Premier League in the not too distant past, which highlights how competitive football is in the UK outside the evil top 4.

Anyhoo, no doubt the James Hargreaves stand was and still is going mental tonight and deservedly so. Would be great to be there! I look forward to hearing about which socks go the Clarets over the line JTC!

Yeeeeesssssssssssssssssssss you ******* rippers. Black socks as instructed by Mrs JTS after we had a row about it. She told ne I was being ridiculous, so why the **** did she tell me to wear the black ones. you just tell me that..............
anyway, all academic. Bristol offered nothing. Played like a side with nothing to play for and as for the clarets.

Yes, ******* yes. need to type this before the alchohol fnalyy takes me out. 4 - 0read it again 4 - 0. and Preston scabbed ti to put Cardiff out. Marty you must be gutted.

So we play Reading at Turf Moor next week in the 1st leg.

Come on you Clarets you can do ir

Brun won at Reading so are promoted whilst Shef Utd drew at Palace so all academic

OK, so now the effects of alcohol have finally worn off (at least on the typing skills if not the head), I think the draw with Bunrnley Vs Reading is probably the best one for us.

We beat Reading at Turf Moor and although we lost at the Majeski (sp), they have under performed at home for most of the 2nd half of the season.

Tight arses have only issued us with 2,100 tickets, which I think is appauling considering thier capacity. I am sure the rule was you had to allow a certain percentage of your capacity to away fans, and pretty sure if Man U, Liverpool etc were playing they would get 5,000 tickets.

Still, it means we will have to shout a bit louder that's all.

So come on you Clarets.

Other Clarets news, Rhys William can't play for us, apparently he was an emergency loan and can only play for 93 days. WTF is that all about.

And news is, Chris Eagles is gone for the new season. £4m to Everton.

Really gutted for ya Marty. I know how it feels as we missed out by a single goal a few years back, after leading the table by 5 points at Christmas too.

That 6 - 0 loss at PNE was the killer.

PNE definitely the form team and Burnley's home win over sheff u has kept them in the race.

So what chance

Sheff u promoted at warnocks palace
Brum v Preston
Reading v Burnley

With a Burnley v Preston final
