Don't think he would mind too much as most of the cash outs being reported would be equivalent to 1 year of salary I'm sure they would still be happy.

When did he cash out? they were offering some very nice amounts even in december

I think Wedgie would probably know OTR cash out value.

Im understanding that logic but when you're 8 points clear and been taking the piss all year i don't see it as handing them the title.

Yeah, it's all semantics.

Leicester have been fantastic all year and thoroughly deserve to win it!

How would you be if you were the bloke who cashed out his £20 bet at 5000/1?

Didn't ontherails missus have Leicester for the title going into Vardy for Golden Boot? did she cash out in the end?

Yep she cashed out a while back.
OTRs funeral is today, just a shame he couldn't hang on to see the Foxes win it :(

Am enjoying this run of Leicester and assuming they do take it out, I'm guessing you would need to go back to well before the premier league was set up to find a bigger upset.
As i'm sure has already been said, will be one of the biggest upsets in world sport history, imho would be on par with the Cleveland Browns winning the Super Bowl, Milwaukee Brewers winning World Series, etc

Blackburn won the EPL back in 1995 but not sure if they were supposed too. They were relegated the next year so I might put a cheeky 10 on Leciester to go down next year. See how they go with fixture congestion next year.

Blackburn had finished top 4 the two years before the won the league and were runners up the season before, they were equal favourite with bookies to win for memory. Pretty sure they didn't get relegated for 3 or 4 years after they won the league

5000-1 is insane. That would be like Essendon winning the flag.

Bozza was saying the only thing that comes close in soccer history is Greece winning euro 2010? but that was like 150-1

Yeah memory is fading but pretty sure after winning it they finished mid table the following year and then had a couple of years of flirting with relegation before finally going down.

I thought the Greeks were much higher odds than that? (Not in the Leicester realm, but thought they were around 500/1)

Pretty sure they were only 150/1.
The Danes were about the same for 92 as they were thrown in with only a week before it started

I don't think any team at the World Cup or Euros would ever be paying 5000/1. Only sport i can see it is an unknown kid in Tennis who specialises on clay making it through Wimbledon qualifies and winning Wimbledon. that would be 5000/1
