Well if JTC and Jase can.. ;)

Leeds will surely be looking at a Playoff spot this season after finishing 7th last season after a dissappointing second half of the season.

Bradley Johnson has left on a free and signed for Norwich
Neil Kilkenny has left on a free and joined Bristol City
Richard Naylor has left on a free and signed for Doncaster Rovers
Kasper Schmeichel has been sold to Leicester for somewhere between 1 and 1.5 Mil.

Paul Rachubka has been signed on a free from Blackpool
Michael Brown has been signed on a free from Portsmouth.

Unconvincing 1-1 draw this morning.
Unbeaten this pre-season, but aren't exactly setting the house on fire.
Ramon Nunez scored in the 90th minute. IMO he'll be one to watch for us this season.

From memory there are 6 Leeds games on TV before the end of October.

The two mentioned, as well as away trips to West Ham, Brighton and Doncaster Rovers and the home game against Cardiff.

Also the Burnley game in November is going to be on TV.

Great 3-2 win against Newcastle in a Friendly at Elland Road last night.
Patrick Kisnorbo, Lloyd Sam and Billy Paynter the goalscorers.

http://www.skysports.com/football/match ... 10,00.html

Most of the squad got a run too, which was good.

Players like Ramon Nunez and Lloyd Sam have had a good pre-season and will feature in Simon Grayson's plans this season, which is good.
Another player that has caught the eye of many fans is Alex Mendy. He's a winger. He seems a lively player, but the problem for Grayson is that, that position is probably our best, with Max Gradel and Robert Snodgrass the main wingers, with Lloyd Sam, Ramon Nunez and even Ross McCormack being able to play out wide.

Terrible start to the season for Leeds.
Pumped 3-1 away against Southampton on the opening day. Our goal being a 95th Minute Penalty.
On the weekend a 1-0 loss at home to Middlesboro. Our two best players being sent off.

We only have 1 fit striker, who doesn't suit our 4-5-1 style of play. It's not looking good at the moment.
We need 3 points badly on the weekend.

Leeds got some points on the board with a 4-1 home win over Hull City early Wednesday Morning.

Manager Simon Grayson went with two of our younger stars in a surprise back 4. Tom Lees (20 years old, who won player of the season at Bury last season) started at right back, whilst Aidy White (19 years old) was given a start at left back.

Andy Keogh was signed before the game on loan until January (Wolves striker), who seemed to be the key ingredient we were missing, as players like McCormack, Snodgrass and Nunez got into the game.

Hopefully this can kickstart our season.
West Ham v Leeds on Sunday night. 9:45pm on Foxtel. HUGE game.
Gradel and Howson back from suspension too. :)

West Ham 2 - Leeds United 2

What can i say.. What a game!
Leeds dominated most parts of the game and definitely deserved their equaliser in the 90th minute.
Adam Clayton who was Man of The Match, scored the equaliser.

Carlton Cole put the Hammers 1-0 up early on. Ross McCormack equalised around the hour mark.
ANOTHER Own Goal, this time from Australian, Patrick Kisnorbo put West Ham back infront, until Clayton equalised late-on.

Both teams had a couple of claims for Penalties turned down.
Leeds' Max Gradel missed a penalty on the half-hour mark, which would have put us back on level terms.

Match Report: http://www.skysports.com/football/match ... 53,00.html

All in all, we played the best i have seen for a very long time.. and away from home against the Championship favourites. Now to start picking up some points to get back into the top half. Danger game against Ipswich coming up, who will be keen to make amends for their 7-1 loss to Peterborough on the weekend.

Haven't updated this for a while, but Leeds lost to Ipswich 2-1 after yet another Red Card. Then on the weekend, after the international break, they won 3-2 at home to Crystal Palace after being 2-1 down. From all reports Palace deserved to win the game, so it was a lucky result.

Ross McCormack has hit a bit of form which is good, whilst Luciano Becchio has returned from injury. We have also signed former Chelsea and Birmingham striker Mikael Forssell, which is a handy addition to the squad.

Saturday Morning, Leeds travelled to the Amex Stadium to take on Brighton. 2-0 up after 24 minutes and cruising. Come the 84th minute we were 3-2 down, due to some VERY POOR defending yet again. Ross McCormack scored a stoppage time goal to salvage a point for Leeds.

Results went our way last night and as it stands at the moment Leeds are 3 points outside of the top 6 with a game in hand, after a pretty average start to the season. Tough games like away trips to West Ham, Southampton, Brighton out of the way early as well. Good signs for the whites.

1-0 win over Portsmouth on the weekend, with Danny Pugh scoring the goal in the 14th minute. First clean sheet in, well a very long time.

If they win their game in hand, Leeds could be inside the top 6. :)

Didn't even see this thread this year.

Thank god we got a clean sheet, we need a few more. 4th home win in a row which is good.
