Ancelotti's Chelsea suicide note: Carlo lets fly but revelations may have doomed move to the Bridge

Carlo Ancelotti has sensationally revealed the details of his secret meetings with Roman Abramovich, providing a rare insight into the clandestine world of Chelsea's Russian owner.
The Italian has also said he could be confirmed as the new manager at Stamford Bridge as early as next week, but only if in a meeting with his AC Milan employers he is told that his services are no longer required.

Ancelotti was here in Rome yesterday to launch his new autobiography and it was the stunning revelations in the first and final chapters, both about Chelsea, that attracted much of the attention.
Abramovich might consider much of it extremely inappropriate, not to mention poorly-timed, given one particular passage that talks of him describing Chelsea as a team without 'personality'. Not ideal when Guus Hiddink is trying to prepare the players for Saturday's FA Cup final.

Chelsea set to agree record £43m deal for Bayern Munich star Ribery

Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery is reported to be on the verge of agreeing a stunning £43million move to Chelsea.
The French international winger had been heavily linked with a switch to Manchester United this summer, but reports are now suggesting that he will sign a deal at Stamford Bridge, after the two clubs agreed the mammoth fee.

Talks between Chelsea officials and the player's representatives are believed to have dragged on after it was revealed that Ribery has demanded a weekly salary of £125,000 AFTER tax.
The Blues are said to be reluctant to offer more than £90,000, although discussions are at an advanced stage and there are no suggestions that the deal is in serious danger of breaking down.

Well lets hope that Bellasconi tells Ancelotti that he is still needed at Milan, but more than happy with the possible Ribery signing he would be a fantastic addition to the squad.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

funny watching roman and his troops dancing round the changerooms after the FA cup win, roman looks like a bit of a casual guy then most owners, dressed in casuals instead of the normal owner in suits and ties etc.

yeah but roman seems to have a little bit of pride being an owner. no owner of a footy club should be walking round with his shirt off. But on the other hand at least ashley sits with in the crowd with the fans and celebrates.
