1-1 Utd to win on penalties after Balotelli tries to be a smart arse in the shootout but fluffs his kick :D

Take that you Citeh scum :D
Glorified practice match but ill take it being down 2-0 at half. Second half we played them off the park and was fantastic to win it in the 94th minute and see the City fans and Mancini devo. Both sides didnt show all their cards but City's defence was comedy at its finest. You would think with all the money in the world you would buy someone who can actually defend, Kompany is a joke. 20 shots to 8 for game with city only having 2 in 2nd half

By all reports Cleverley & Wellbeck were 2 of United’s best overnight. Would be great to see these 2 youth products come through and play a significant role this season.

Haven’t seen a lot of Cleverley but the 2 years loaned at Wigan seem to have done him the world of good – sounds like he has had a ripping pre-season. Wellbeck was one of Sunderlands best before getting injured last year – would love to see him get a decent run but might find it tough with all the strikers United have at the moment.

Cant wait for the season to begin. Definitely had enough of reading a different exclusive every day on some transfer that doesn’t take place.

missed the game, set my alarm but must have turned it off during my sleep lol.

but saw the highlights....what a defensive error by city to give the shield to united.....looks like an Arsenal error that was :lol:

Great comeback for United, I didn't watch the game but it's nice to hear the young lads performed well. Can't wait to see the likes of Cleverly and Welbeck rip it up when the real stuff begins. De Gea still has time to improve, not the best start to his career but he's young. We don't have a great track record after losing legendary keepers though. :lol:

Also how good was United's second goal? Simply stunning football.

I wouldn't take too much out of this game
Neither side wanted to give away too many secrets IMO
United, especially Fergie, will be happy with the result but question marks over the ease in which City carved their two goals and the keeper is no VDS that's for sure. Thought Evra's was lucky to stay on after getting away with a tackle that should have been a yellow But I guess "was lucky to still be on" is a fairly common expression when discussing Man U.

As for City, they were cut to shreads by Utd and would consider themselves to be lucky they went in at half time 2-0 up. Their defence looks a real problem and Bartelli looked lazy and full of wining everytime he didn't get the ball.
City have some great individuals but United have a great team and that is the main difference between the two sides. Still haven't seen anything to suggest City will usurp Utd this season.
