I reckon what needs to happen is that this comp runs as seperate competitions with seperate threads mate .. Kinda like the SANFL Slaughter Comp.

Invariably people wont check in when they've been knocked out, but if they see a thread locked and a new one saying "Slaughter Comp #2" then they'll likely jump back in again .. Just a thought.
