(I can't laugh too hard as I did a hammy when I scored my first footy goal)

Anyone know why they got rid of VAR this year? Some shocking decisions already that would have been fixed with VAR. :?
The A-League contracted the VAR out to a new supplier with increased data capabilities and technologies that is supposedly an upgrade on the old system but the supplier failed to deliver it in time so they have canned it for this season

Its why I'm actually liking watching AU, they have a very similar philosophy these days to the Mariners and I like it.
What a win.

Melbourne City part ways with Rado Vidosic.
Must admit after seeing his uninspiring speeches on the Paramount special on the Grand Final when they lost 6-1 I'm surprised it didn't happen in June.

That second yellow to send off Nestory was a disgrace. I can see why he gets so frustrated.

Yes and no, I was equally frustrated with the way he'd been treated but you can't go off like that.
Refs should protect guys like that not frustrate them, and for eg I don't follow Adelaide United but was watching the game out of pure interest in watching him and other youngsters play.
Long day for me, watching the game in Perth now.

And I thought things couldn't get any worse in the A League and then someone gets sent off in Perth for a slap that woudln't have interrupted a butterfly's path.
No wonder so many people in this country look down on this sport with disdain.

It's hard to disagree with the yellow for dissent, but goodness gracious how do neither the ref nor the lino see the two obvious fouls.

These refs are meant to be the best in Australia, and they fail to see what the 15k other people in the venue clearly saw.

Agreed, if the ref's had done their job Nestor wouldn't have even got a yellow.

5-0 down to the bottom side a minute into the second half, this is the Adelaide United I expected to see this season
