Here we go again. Why the **** do coaches think bringing their sons into a squad will end well?

It's not like either of them are Steven Gerrard ffs

It hasn't ended well with Edwards replaced by Kenny Lowe. He was an assistant to Dave Mitchell.

Be interesting to see what happens with the sons now

They haven't named the replacement yet.

Has been talk that Mich D'Avray, the man who took us to 2 national titles, is a candidate for the full time job

So did this all start because he was playing his sons and jacob burns wasn't a fan of the idea?

It's not just Jacob that has/had an issue. As captain he was the player who stood up and spoke against what was happening. I'm led to believe it was 1 of the reasons that Pantelidis left.

Although the way it was handled by all sides was absolutely shit house, I'm glad it come to a head now than just before a possible finals campaign

Central Coast beat Wellington 1-0 despite a few missed easy chances on both sides and a penalty save to Reddy who got MOM.
Nice to get the 3 pts in a catch up game that puts us in 4th.
Still need to improve heaps.
Word has it that we'll lose McGlinchey who didn't play tonight early in Jan to Graham Arnold's Japanese side and bring back Ibini.

2 clean sheets in a row, looks like things are slowly turning. Played Perth off the park for the majority of the game but lacked the final touch, happy to take an away point though

Spot on, he is just a dumb footballer.
Makes too many stupid decisions, rash tackles and creates panic at the back

Doesn't help when you play a high line one meter being the half way line with the two slowest CB in the league! Ps How good would big Serg been in this line up! Up yours Kossi

Yep this style would of suited Serg, one of the worst mistakes this club has made and they have made plenty

Looking ugly at half time even though we've had a couple of chances. WSW 2 Mariners 0.

Full time. 2-0. Mariners showed some better signs in the 2nd half but WSW shut shop.

Good first half effort by United, have played the Jets off the park so far. The crowd down here are thoroughly enjoying the football being played
