Travis Dodd Signs With Perth Glory

As expected, Travis Dodd has signed with Perth Glory on a two year deal.

I don't think that Perth will be a bottom club next season.
They've just signed a pretty good goalkeeper in Vukovic.
They have just signed Dodd.
As well as Heffernan and a couple of other solid A League players.
They are now after Shane Smeltz too.
I predict them to sneak into the top 6 next season.

Almost as many as Anelka?
To be fair to Smeltz, I'd probably want to leave a club if I was only playing in front of 16 people every second week.

He chose to go back to them. He left and went to asia but couldnt hack it so he returned to australia. He chose to return to gold coast

I know, I couldn't understand it at the time. I still can't understand why anyone would want to play there, apart from Clive Palmer's wallet of course?

My own opinion is Dodd's better off in WA at 32 years of age, he's been a great servant for Adel United but when your times up your times up.
Rinnie knows what he's doing & he's got my support.

He'd probably still be at Adelaide if they didnt sack him
