Posted: Thu Feb 03, 2011 10:03 amProbably can cut them a little slack over the state of the pitch. Qld has copped a bit of rain of late and also Brisbane are playing there home matches there as well so not getting alot of time to recover.
Certainly agree about Gold Coast crowds tho. It kills the game as a spectacle with absolutely no atmosphere. I reckon i have played indoor soccer at the local YMCA to a bigger crowd.

I only saw the highlights but I thought it was strange that Ried recieved the red and they both went in studs up i believe eyes for the ball.....That ref is a shocker does he even know the rules.

Good to see the red card rescinded very quickly, but if GCU had've scored in that last ten minutes I'm sure Rini and the boys wouldn't be as nice about it.
