Ripper stuff, that's a good win, with 1 man down for basically the whole game.

One of our best wins for sure! That was bloody sensational! Cristiano certainly proved a point! Set pieces were always going to be our main hope, and its great to see him put away the chances he got.

The last 2 games we have had 10 men for 80 mins + (gf and last night) we have played better than when we have had 11. Anyway certianly earned that win last night the boys played for each other and was good to see Cristiano score again, I certianly thought it was going to be hard for Adelaide to score one let alone two, with all our attacking problems and with Sydneys defence being in good form heading in to the match, but we controlled the ball and played the wings when attacking and it work ( omg!!!), set pieces where a strong point from us, but we also countered quick enough to make the 4-2-3-1 formation work, so if we are going to continue with 4-2-3-1 we have to counter as quick we did last night otherwise what had be happening in the previous weeks with lack of goal scoring oppertunites and inviting presure will happen, but hopefully this is the kick start our season needed, come on the reds.

obviously the reds were more cleaner with passes, ive only seen them once against the Victory and that night they were an absolute rabble.

Good for the lads to get a win, just go on with it now reds

How the hell did we win that? No Dodd or Pantelis, Cassio and Owusu starting on the bench and then Barbiero gets stupidly sent off in the first 10mins.

Absolutely amazing performance.

Leckie-enjoy watching him while you can lads as this kid is a class above.

Jamo-another outstanding game, his delivery from set pieces and mongrel when attacking the ball is fantastic.

Cristiano-two goals from strong headers.

Eugene-commanded his area well, unlucky to concede as his initial save was world class.

Now lets see how we go next week. Playing away to a team we have lost 7 games in a row too but Sydney pumped them 3-0 so surely we should do the same? ;) Unfortunately it doesn't work like that but it promises to be a great match. Surely we are due a win against those bastards?

Agree with all the accolades on here, won of the bravest most spirited performances I can remember in United's short history
